VIDEO GAMER X'S ULTIMATE GAME MP3'S
I proudly present some of the best renditions of Video Game Themes music ever crafted for human ears. These pieces have been both done by full concert orchestras, some include vocal accompaniment that is by far some of the best I have ever encountered. These are most notably directly from Japan, and some of the themes are sung by the lovely voices of some of the best Japanese opera/aria singers in the world. You will be surprized how wonderful these themes sound with the vocalists singing in native Japanese.
FINAL FANTASY VI
WORLD OF RUIN - 1
1 - World of Ruin is one of my most favorite piece's of Final Fantasy Music. It's the music that plays while your party is traveling the overworld. In the Midi of the SNES, this was an moving theme, but what this fully orchestrated rendering represents transends anything else and harnesses the epic experience of Final Fantasy. This one really makes me want to step outside and venture into the world on an epic adventure. Very inspiring, very emotional. I get this real overwhelming feeling when I hear song that I could only liken to a spiritual experience. I'm very proud to be able to offer this to gamers across this planet because this song has universal ramifications. The Japanese vocal makes this a must have for any Final Fantasy fan. (This is the type of stuff Worf listens to in Honor of Kaless's Epic Battles) Composer - Nobuo Uematsu 1993 (Symphonic/Vocal 4.0 MB, 128 Bitrate, 44100 Hz, Length 4:10)
This is the translation of the Japanese into English.
Far away, beyond the night
Wandering in the ocean of sand
The god's voice is only a mirage.
Forgotten people...
The shadow is white, swaying
An illusion again
The dream of the brave soul burns blue
Forever sleeping people
Far away, beyond the night...
ARIA DI MEZZO CARATTERE - 2
One of the most moving scenes from Final Fantasy VI was Celes' Aria at the Opera House. Who can forget the music, and the feeling that we first got from this gaming experience. I have compressed this file for easy download, (It's about 1.4 MB) it's over 5 Minutes Long, but the sound quality is still excellent. This Aria is by far one of the best classical compostions I've had the pleasure of listening to. Composer - Nobuo Uematsu 1993 (Symphonic/Vocal 1.4 MB, 32 Bitrate, 22050 Hz, 5:48)
FINAL FANTASY VII
ONE WINGED ANGEL
Truly by far, collossal! The utter in-your-face power of this piece of music goes so far beyond awesome, it's amazing. It embodies everything that the twisted mind of the man, Sephiroth, who sought to become God and was defeated by the hope of the young girl Aeris. This reminds me so much of Fantasia. I suggest playing this one loud to really get the effect. Another must have for Final Fantasy fans. What are you waiting for! Start downloading! Composer - Nobuo Uematsu 1997 (Symphonic/Choir 4.1 MB, 128 Bitrate, 44100 Hz, 4:23)
FINAL FANTASY VIII
LOVE WILL GROW
This is a magnificent remix of the Final Fantasy VIII theme "Love Will Grow." Fans of Final Fantasy VIII are aware of the talented Faye Wong's "Eyes on Me" but this is a very comparable and worthy addition to the love theme of the game. Final Fantasy VIII was about love, and this song truly puts a strong vivid emphasis on that notion. Nobuo Uematsu - 1998 (Orchestral/Vocal 2.0 MB, 48 Bitrate, 44100 Hz, 5:26)
ZELDA
THE HYRULE OVERWORLD THEME - 3
This is one awesome piece of music. The Zelda Hyrule Overworld Theme is timeless. We've heard it for over a decade, and to hear it like this is beyond exhillarating. It's a Zelda epiphany. Truly this is how it was intended to be heard. This immaculately honors the legendary gaming saga and has become my inspiration for the NEO ZELDA project. Composer - Koji Kondo 1986 (Symphonic, 4.0 MB, 128 Bitrate, 44100 Hz, 4:13)
THE DARKWORLD
When the world of Zelda: A Link to the Past morphed into the mysterious Darkworld, we were faced with challenges unsupassed by any other zelda game. Link's world was transfigured into Ganon's domain of a ruined Golden Land.
