Quest 1

Hearts:

1) Go east four screens from where you begin. Bomb the wall around the northern pathway to open a cave with a Heart inside!

2) After you get the raft, go east 8 screens from where you begin and than north 5 screens. Go on the little raft dock which will take you to a island with a building. The building has the heart container.

3) After you get the ladder, go east 8 screens from where you beginand north two screens and use the ladder to get the heart!

4) From where you begin, go four screens east, five screens north, and one screen west. Bomb the rock to make a cave appear.

5) To get the last container, you need a candle. From where you begin go east once screen, north three screens and west one screen. Burn one of the bushes to find the heart.

Items:

White Sword: This is located above the waterfall in North Hyrule. From the starting point, go east one screen, north five screens, west one screen, north one screen, east three screens and north one screen. You will need 5 heart containers before you could pick it up.

Blue Ring: This can be purchased for 250 rupees from a hidden shop near the lake at the center of Hyrule. To get to the shop, from where you begin, go north one screen, west three screens and north three screens. Push one of the statues to reveal the staircase. It is twice as strong as Link's regular armor, so be sure to get this.

The Letter: This item is found in the north eastern region of Hyrule. From the starting point, go east four screens, north five screens, east two screens, north one screen, east one screen and north one screen. Go in the cave to get the letter. Now you will be able to purchase bottles of potion from the old ladies around Hyrule.

Magic Sword: This most powerful sword is located in the graveyard. The graveyard is located in the in the north western area of Hyrule. To facilitate your journey to the graveyard, you should pass through the lost woods. From the starting point of the game, go north one screen, west four screens, north one screen, west two screens and south one screen to get in the Lost Woods. To pass through the maze of the Lost Woods, walk north on screen, west one screen, south one screen and west one screen. When you exit the maze go north two screens to find the graveyard. Go to the upper right screen and push the tombstones until you find the secret staircase that will lead you to the sword. You will need at least 12 heart containers before you can acquire the sword.

Power Bracelet: The bracelet is a vain item for this Zelda. All it does is it lets you move rocks so you can access the warp system. Go west three screens and north five screens. Move the statue to the upper right and get bracelet from there.
