MORE ON PROGRAMMERS DEBUG CODE

Now you see, all the fun stuff I unveiled with Video Gamer X's Programmers Debug Code can be expanded under different circumstances. I'm letting you gamers figure out what to do with the code since it allows us to see the programmers op-code for the game or perhaps the ROM-Data being fed right to the N64 itself. There are many numerical perhaps Hexidecimal lines that appear on the Debug screens, and perhaps with the gameshark these can be exploited to alter the circumstances of the game so radically that a player could litterally do anything perhaps even play as say...Zelda? Some interesting things we've already found when the I first broke the code were that we could access the game's production date, the words "Oh My God!" "RCP is Hung Up" and "I Love You" as well as a possible E-mail address zelda@srd44 or maybe Creator:zelda@srd44 and of course all the numbers. I really don't know the full implications of the Debug Code, but here, this gamer has diversified it's capabilites.

hey, ya know the programmer's code (video gamer x's code, if you prefer)? i found a different way to do it (it also gets a slightly different result)! ok here's how: go anywhere in the game where you can use the ocarina, and pull the left side of the cart until it glitches, then push it a little (VERY little) back into the slot, just far enough to make it stop glitching. then, play one of the six "effect" songs (zelda's lullaby, epona's song, ect...though i'm not sure it will work with saria's song) and BEFORE IT FINISHES PLAYING, PULL THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CART OUT ENOUGH TO MAKE IT GLITCH. then, when it locks up, do the code (i'm sure you all know it by now) and the programmer's screens will come up like normal, but instead of three fairly uninteresting screens, you'll get about six screen packed with programming code! it's really neat, ya gotta try it once! oh, and you may notice that some of the numbers that come on-screen look a lot like gameshark codes. - DeadShpoon

As this gamer found out by changing the circumstances that are transpiring on the screen when CROOKED CARTRIDGE is initiated and the code is entered differnent information is propagated from the N64. One thing I think is a must with this code is the little yellow line in the upper left hand corner above Link's hearts. Next task gamers, attempt CROOKED CARTRIDGE and VGX DEBUG during a game cinema. Have fun! I'll be waiting for more awesome glitches and cool codes.
