FISHERMAN'S NIGHTMARE

Here's a big error, that exists in the game that allow you to carry the fishing pole outside of the pond and will cause it to crash where Link is frozen and unable to move. A gamer by the name of T-dog submitted this. Here's what he said:

Ok - notice that link has that FISHING ROD equiped in the "B" icon? What you need to do to do this is, Have the Hover boots on when you go fishing.... then run (float) over the water and quickly roll backwards while pressing the cast button. If you do this correctly link will be able to walk around WITH the line casted... (camera angles get kinda screwed up), but then you can walk to the door and walk out of the door.

If you try to cast the pole OUTSIDE of the fishing area, the game will lock up.

Here's the screenshot he included.

Let me clarify and approve what he is saying. First you must get the fishing pole from the man then get near the edge of the pond. With the hover boots on quickly walk forward, cast, then pull the control stick back. This will cause the camera to lose it's adherence to the bobber on your line. You will walk around this area with the fishing line limp. If you exit the door, you will still be in possession of the pole. If you try to cast it, it will freeze Link where his is. You will have to reset the game. You can't even warp out of this one. Thanks T-dog for this great Zelda 64 trick.
