WHO IS VIDEO GAMER X?
Who is the masked man who rides across the wild west of the internet and brazenly proclaims his voice to all the villages and cities? Who is the traveler who seeks the most hidden Zelda tips and brings them into the light? Video Gamer X of course! But who is he really? Is he young, old, black, white, asian, male, female, or extraterrestrial or all of them? Am I the Sheik, the truth-teller behind the white veil? No one really knows do they? You all come to my creation, "The Odyssey of Hyrule," but do you actually know who the elusive Video Gamer X is? The following are not only insight into the mind behind this website but expressions of purpose in creating a tribute to great adventures.

Wind blowing gently in my hair,
Before me is the world large,
Fields of green, cities of iron,
The azure sky beckons my soul,
The realms I hold in my hand,
Gateways to universal heart,
And home to the Keeper's love song.
Marks lay across the pathless path,
By forefathers made in past age,
I know the timeless truth about ,
Who I was, and what I will be,
Shining hero of time I am,
The mountains move before my faith,
My vindication is at hand,
The Keeper is awakening!
Eons of old become anew,
Monuments shall be erected,
Into air will pour works of God,
Seekers of themselves are faithless,
To Sanctify the holy ones,
The way to destiny lies there,
Heed my truths you builders of walls,
Your castle's ramparts will crumble!
Hour of truth is approaching,
Set sail before dawn's light ignites,
Cast your anchors behind your home,
Chosen navigator am I,
Heaven's glory will be my chart,
Summon the force of sea and wind,
Bring the New World to my feet,
The Keeper is calling your name!

Letting my name become representative of an emancipation from the confines of what others desired me to become or conform, I, like the great flaming phoenix, ascended from the ashes of the mundane to a zenith from where I shall unveil my radient wings of enlightenment over all that I survey. Always remember the experiences you have endured and the things you've learned are a part of you and will remain forever as a testiment to your individuality. Don't let anyone take that away from you. Some will attempt to change you or make you into what they narrowly perceive is normal or required. Some will say you are wrong and should follow a specific path. Make your own choices and strive to attain a greater understanding of who you are and why you exist for yourself. In these times today I see so many young people ruining their lives with drugs and alcohol having become detatched from their understanding of who they really are. Lost in a sea of unachieved expectations presented by contemporary society's fascade these individuals are without a place to express their individuality. Some turn agressively inward toward themselves or other members of their family destroying the sactity of their existence. Similarly, there are adults who conform to a system of structured heirarchy based solely on material weatlth and acquisition of social prowess. While there are others who fritter their lives away with narrow-mindedness and clouded thinking unwilling to learn and experience more than what they are comfortably accustomed to. Many of the factors contributing to this degredation of individuality are upbringing and the pressures of social surroundings. The loss of creativity and imagination is sadly apparent.
