#1: No Spamming - I have the ability to limit the number of posts users can make in a single period of time, but I do not turn this on unless there is a problem. DO NOT create numerous/many replies or topics with the intent of preventing the other users from using the message boards or create lines of text that extend past the window causing the message boards to improperly function. Spam also includes making numerous duplicated replies that include the URL to a website, or advertisements. Spam also includes the posting of numerous or very large images in the thread window to bog down the load time. Flagrant Spam will be removed by a Moderator or the Administator immediately and that user will be banned from using the community. In the case where a severe problem arises, the Administrator has access to the IP address of users who decide to violate the rules and further action may be taken including termination of a user's internet access as per the ISP's Terms of Service.

#2: Obscenity and Profanity - The use of profanity is prohibited. If a user is observed enguaging in excessive profanity use that user will be contacted and warned about the offensive behavior, if that user continues and ignores their warning, they will be temporarily banned, and upon the third violation, permanently banned. Directly targeted racial slurrs are not acceptable. Do not post any language or information that may be considered excesively pornographic in nature or any links/URL's to pornographic material. Doing so will result in immediate termination of your access to the community. Try to be tasteful with your language and courteous to other users. The Administrators has the ability to activate a language filter at any time if a there is a serious problem.

#3: Signatures. Everyone deserves the right to express their creativity. Video Gamer X's new message boards allow for the use of signature images and text in conjunction with your message posting. I don't recommend posting image signatures, but if you want to include an image with your text please make the image about 200 pixels width or less. This will help the boards load faster and make them a more enjoyable experience overall for everyone even our 56k dailup friends!

#4: No controversies outside of Zelda or video game related topics, no flame wars, no harrassment of other users, or creation of topics designed to cause dissention, mistrust, or hatred to any one paticular user. Topics that include personal attacks may be subject to editing.

#5: No topic may be created that is designed to harrass the administration staff (Admins/Moderators), or create controversy regarding the administration staff irregardless of whether it may be true or not. Any topic designed to do this, will be immediately deleted. The user will be warned that such actions are not acceptable. If this activity continues, the user will be banned from visiting the community.
