![]() THERE IS NO OBTAINABLE TRIFORCE IN ZELDA 64 I have probably said this at least five separate times on this site since early 1999, THERE IS NO OBTAINABLE TRIFORCE IN THE VIDEO GAME ZELDA 64. It was a very worthy quest back in December of '98 and Early '99, but since this time it's been THOROUGHLY proven that it was never ever programmed into the game. Recently, over the past month or so I've been getting a kind of revival of this phenomena over the Triforce, people saying the knew the secret behind that goofy poem that was NOT BY SHIGERU MIYAMOTO, or Ariana Almondoz's Second Step, or the Triforce on the Quest Status. All of these things were investigated MANY times be people and it was shown ALL to be FALSE. People made all of it up, back in early '99 this was my holy grail investigation for Zelda 64, but alas after many months of investigation it proved to be in vain, it was just NEVER programmed into the game. Never. Nintendo said it, Nintendo Power said it, Shigeru Miyamoto said it, and I am saying it and have said it since '99. IT'S NOT IN THE GAME! You can see A Triforce in the Temple of Time, On Link's Hand, During the cinemas, and in various other places in Zelda 64's Hyrule, but you never use the Triforce as an Item. The Triforce is broken into three parts bonded with the spirit of of Link (Courage), Zelda (Wisdom), and Ganon (Power). The plot says that as you play the game. There's no denying that. Please, no more rumors about the Triforce, no more emails about this. I usually enjoy reading everybody's mail, sometimes I reply, but I don't even bother with stuff on the Triforce now. That investigation is over and done with. Time to move on. Please don't send any more possible explanations on getting it, or supposed secret info. Believe me I was disappointed that you never obtained the Triforce in Zelda 64, but we'll just have to wait until GameCube Zelda to see what timeline Miyamoto uses to continue the Zelda legacy and what role the Triforce plays in the new game. On another note, The Hyrule Running Man (the one in the Carpenter's Tent near Gerudo, that you gave the bunny hood to) Can NEVER BE BEATEN! I don't care what anyone else has told you, or where you heard such, but it has been investigated and investigated and this has been proven over and over back in '99 and 2000. Don't believe me? Use the GAMESHARK to make all the times 0:00, and when you get to the bridge HE STILL BEATS YOU with zero time. It's just one of those loose ends left in the game. And Finally, The Pyramid in the Haunted Wasteland is not a pyramid at all. It's NOTHING! I went there with the Gameshark, and it's just an upturn in all the polygons that make up the ground. There's no structure or Pyramid there at all, there never was. Until I got the Gameshark, I had no way of knowing for sure, so it was a mystery, now it's not. No more mail on the Pyramid, thanks. ![]() Back to The Odyssey of Hyrule |
