NINTENDO'S ODDITY

Zelda: Majora's Mask's release date is quickly approaching. Slated for release at the same time as Playstation 2, and Final Fantasy IX, you've got to ask yourself, "What are they thinking!?" But regardless, Majora's Mask is poised to be the most intriguing Zelda game to come along, and probably the last best thing to appear on the endangered Nintendo 64 console. You've got to wonder about Nintendo fascination with being elusive about their site choice though. Their recently developed online for Zelda: Majora's Mask, on the internet is this rather enigmatic site, www.z-science.com claims to be a scientific site devoted to the study of interdimensional travel and temporal mechanics. Reading into the site you will discover referances to "The One" which as it turns out is supposed to be Link. Furthermore, you will find key names written in Anagrams, like Tarin Rugeshi = Shigeru, JRAMOA = Majora, etc. They've done this twice before for Perfect Dark. Two sites, www.datadyne.com and www.carringtoninstitute.com are both examples of fictitious internet sites devoted to their blockbuster games. All I can do is initially scratch my head and assume that Nintendo's web designers are having fun with gamers on the net. As far as I can tell there's no way to identify without some effort to read between the lines that the sites have anything to do with video games. The

All this mystery and evasive effort prompted me to become curious and pursue the issue with Nintendo for some definative answers. Sure enough, being Video Gamer X, I went ahead and did some digging and discovered via the internet an internal line to a department at Nintendo of America in Redmond Washington (as well as an address and fax number! You'll be getting my resume). When I called the toll number I came in touch with a receptionist that replyed, "Thank you for calling Nintendo how may I direct your call." Sure enough, this was closer to the heart of the beast than I'd ever gotten before. I immediately started talking about the site www.z-science.com and she transferred me to someone else who didn't give me his name but seemed a little shocked that I was on his phone. I asked, "so... what's up with that www.z-science.com site? I know about your other sites, but I mean this site has and looks like it has nothing to do with Zelda. Kids will not understand this stuff. How do you plan to market a product with a site like that." The guy confirmed the site was owned by Nintendo, laughed, and he indicated that "It will have more on it in the future about Majora's Mask." I told him that it was just really strange considering there were things about interdimensional travel and higher-dimensional physics (stuff I'm keenly interested and discuss on the Odyssey of Hyrule) and even an image of a crop circle I've seen on the site. (I'll get to that later) He seemed just as elusive on the phone as the site is, and said, "Well that's all I can really say...but...you're right..." I finally concluded the call myself, but I WILL be calling them back now that I have contacts with NOA internal staff, maybe even get that Miyamoto Interview I didn't get from Impact Gaming last year.

The Following are Excerpts from their site:

The JRAMOA Principle
As always, JRAMOA currently has a large number of experiments underway. Here are some of the more exciting projects our top teams are working on now.

Particle Physics and Higher-Dimensional Space
Extremely popular with the scientific media, the PPHDS team uses multinucleon absorption and dark matter experimentation to log the boundaries of our universe as we perceive it.
Dr. Greenbotham adjusting
MNDM-32x Absorption Spectrometer equipment

Non-Linear Chaos Classification
The NLCC team strives to disprove the notion that chaotic systems never quite retrace their paths. Success will be determined when the electroweak scale is stabilized at 10-19 meter.

Plasma Physics for Consumer Goods
Since plasmas usually do not occur naturally on Earth except in the form of lightning bolts, their relevance to our everyday lives has been minimal. Researchers in the PPCG group hope to ionize cows' milk through exposure to high temperatures, resulting in a near-plasma state which provides more sterile shipping conditions.

Speckle Interferometry Advancements
Thanks to the hard work of those involved in the SIA project, high-powered lasers are now available without the "grainy" unfocused appearance of previously unresolved laser light. A wide variety of consumer applications will soon become available.

These are just a few of our projects currently taking place around the globe. Data requests are processed only through JRAMOA contacts.

Disturbing Discovery Perplexes Scientists
International Science Summit report: August 21, 2000

Designed to be a celebratory gathering of global scientists, recent events have turned JRAMOA's International Science Summit into a grim forum for discussion on how to save the world.

It has been over a week since JRAMOA scientist Dr. Tarin Rugeshi discovered the existence of a parallel universe in the Antarctic installation of the Particle Physics and Higher-Dimensional Space Project. Continuous observation of the rift resulted in zero change over the first 140 hours, but at 07:32 am on August 20 Dr. Rugeshi made yet another staggering discovery.

Due to the extreme significance of the following information gathered at the ISS, Z-Science would like to once again emphasize its commitment to journalistic integrity and the presentation of pure scientific fact without editorialization or speculation.

The report filed by Dr. Rugeshi this morning disproves the prevailing theory that singular events occurring in one universe have no observable impact on higher dimensions connected to that universe. In fact, Dr. Rugeshi has presented convincing data which -- in all preliminary experimentation -- suggests that events in our universe are in fact directly related to and even affected by events occurring in the recently discovered parallel universe.

Yesterday morning, Dr. Rugeshi and his associate Dr. Takashi Norogaroz observed that as the CCD continued to increase the scattering rate of polarized circulating electrons in our universe, sensors indicated that non-target electrons under observation in the parallel universe also experienced an increased scattering rate measurable to 10 -15 meter!

Therefore, JRAMOA scientists have proven that even the smallest events which take place in our universe affect the parallel universe, and vice versa. It is this knowledge which makes this morning's report by lead JRAMOA astrophysicist Dr. Mouke Takeko so significant.

For the past week, Dr. Takeko has been mapping the night sky of the parallel universe by measuring globular clusters, redshift and the spiral tilts of neighboring galaxies. Until this morning, she had found the night sky in the parallel universe to be an exact match of our own.

Nightly, Dr. Takeko has made careful measurements of the Earth's moon as it exists in the parallel universe. While analyzing lunar positioning data this morning, Dr. Takeko discovered that the "parallel moon" had broken out of its orbital path and was approaching the Earth at a rate of 155.505 mph. In her detailed report, Dr. Norogaroz reports that the lunar mass will strike the "parallel Earth" on October 26, 2000.

Immediately, JRAMOA scientists engaged in open discussion focused on the possibility that a global disaster in the parallel universe could cause an equally devastating event to occur in our own world. Unanimously, top JRAMOA researchers have determined that such as scenario is not only possible, but highly probable.

In summary, Z-Science would like to present the following facts:

Higher dimensional space in the form of a parallel universe has been proven to exist Experimentation has proven that this parallel universe is directly related to our own: what happens in our universe affects the parallel universe and vice versa In the parallel universe, the moon will crash into the Earth on October 26, 2000

Although JRAMOA staff members are obviously troubled at these discoveries, they have asked the Z-Science staff and all media present at the International Science Summit to inform the public that they are working around the clock in conjunction with the Federal Research Commission to decide on a course of action which can delay or permanently halt the pending chain of events which many feel is irreversible.

Please see our further reports on the International Science Summit for more information on these efforts.

Parallel Universe Now!
August 14, 2000

After years of reporting on the gradual gains made by JRAMOA in the field of trackable linear-based physics, it is with great excitement and tremendous pride that we announce the discovery of at least four tangible Science existing beyond our perceived boundaries of observation.

We are admittedly surprised at the magnitude of this radical leap made by JRAMOA, particularly when one considers that particle acceleration experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are not scheduled to begin until 2005. As is frustratingly common with scientific discovery, JRAMOA discovered these extra dimensions (considered to be a single parallel universe) not through multinucleon absorption or dark matter experimentation, but through what was seemingly pure chance.

Dr. Tarin Rugeshi, JRAMOA's Chief Engineer on the Dimension Data project (pictured), became the first person ever to observe a parallel universe on the morning of August 14, 2000. Stationed in a remote research outpost on the southern tip of the Antarctic Archipelago, Dr. Rugeshi has spent the last two years gathering TeV energy data with the aid of a Charged-Coupled Device (CCD).

At precisely 10:26 am, abnormally intense seismic activity emanating from Vinson Massif (Antarctica's highest peak at 16,066 ft/4,897 m) caused the CCD to increase the scattering rate of polarized circulating electrons from their internal targets. JRAMOA is currently mapping the gravitational impact of these rapidly moving electrons, but even the experienced team of physicists is likely years away from explaining what happened next.

As Dr. Rugeshi's assistants measured particle movement down to about 10-19 meter (complete documentation is currently being compiled), he witnessed the formation of a controlled environmental tear contained within the physical boundaries of the TeV energy experiments. Through this rift, Dr. Rugeshi observed what appeared to be a dense forest where he knew there should be nothing but snow and ice. Among the trees, Dr. Rugeshi reports witnessing bright bursts of light darting in and out of view. At this moment, Dr. Rugeshi was looking directly into the heart of a parallel universe.

As astonishing as this may sound, it is even more amazing to consider that this rift has maintained its consistency since it formed over 24 hours ago. Multiple scientists have observed the phenomenon, and to describe it as groundbreaking would be to vastly underestimate the significance of this discovery.

A hasty interpretation of the data collected reveals results quite similar to the Hawking radiation patterns emitted by micro black holes. However, there are still many experiments that need to be conducted before the JRAMOA team begins to accumulate data about the formation, existence and potential applications of mankind's first encounter with a parallel dimension.

Micro Black Holes:

At press time, the Z-Science staff is riddled with more questions than answers. Is it possible to pass through this rift and enter the parallel dimension? Is it feasible that this "other" universe is but one of many new levels of consciousness waiting to be discovered? How will this discovery benefit mankind?

For now, we can only wait. JRAMOA has reported its discovery to the proper contacts in the Federal Research Commission, and monitored experimentation has been executed without cessation since the rift was discovered. Z-Science will continue to report on the findings of JRAMOA as new experiments are conducted and as the research team has time to let the enormity of this advantageous occurrence settle in.

At JRAMOA Laboratories, the creation of micro black holes was achieved in March of 2000, though they still remain unstable. The Large Hadron Collider (particle accelerator) rams protons together at high energies resulting in the formation of the holes. Rapid evaporation occurs within minutes resulting in radiation emissions comprised of particles and gravitons. The creation of the holes is directly related to the developments in the TeV energy experiments.

Though most people have never heard of JRAMOA, our organization has touched the lives of countless men, women and children across the globe thanks to the generous support of a wide variety of public and private organizations.

Were it not for the financial support of these groups over the last 23 years, JRAMOA would never have made such amazing advancements in fields such as magnetospheric physics and astralplanology. Very recently, a JRAMOA scientist by the name of Dr. Tarin Rugeshi became the first human to ever lay eyes on the fascinating beauty of a parallel universe.

To continue its work, though, JRAMOA needs more support today than ever before. We urge any organization with a desire to help make the world a better place to consider becoming an official JRAMOA Sponsor. Varying levels of membership are available to accommodate any budget.

Informational packets -- and an exclusive DVD featuring inspiring footage of the parallel universe -- are available by contacting your state JRAMOA representative.
