QUANTUM PHYSICS AND TEMPORAL MECHANICS
Here you are surfing my Zelda website, and you come across this. Quantum Physics???? "Just what kind of crack is Video Gamer X on now?" you're probably thinking. Interestingly enough this has some, albeit remote, relationship to Zelda 64 in the fact that Link manipulates the concept of linear time to travel between his youth and adulthood. Scientists like to throw these words around like they are insanely difficult topics to understand by ordinary people and that it is only for their vastly superior intelligences to grasp. Yeah right, I say! I was thinking about this stuff when I was 13, so I wouldn't say that normal people can't get this, and that is why I'm making this article, to shed some light on this seemingly unfathomable topic, and include some of my own theories. I'll try my best to go easy on this and explain the way it should be explained.
Time. What is it? What you see around you occupies what is called spacetime, meaning that it has a location in both space (everything you can see) and time (where events happen). Now frequently we confine the concept of time to a linear track of past, present, and future where present is a point that is always moving forward. Now think about something here. Where is the present? If present occupies what you are thinking now, then the present is already the past because by the time you brain processed the information for you to even think about this sentance, it has already gone into the past. Present is an illusion and subject to your perception. So that sort of leaves behind past and future to deal with. We know that things that happen in the past will not happen again exactly the same, they are gone forever, we know that things that haven't happened yet will be the future but those things are uncertain. Now suppose that the future and past both exist simulaneously as a property or piece of the universe, meaning that you can only perceive linear time because your brain cannot conciously process simulaneous time. Have I lost you yet. I figured, but stay with me here. You see your brain is not capable of processing non-linear time because it is confined to sensory input derived in 3 dimensions. Linear time is confined specifically to the occurances in 3-D space. 3-D space means length, width, and height, It is merely a simple example mechanics or things that occur in higher dimensions like 4-D, 5-D, 6-D and so on. Usually we can not perceive higher dimensional space because our bodies like other matter in the universe are governed by the rules of existing in three dimensions. We can see the result of higher dimensional space in things like movement and gravity, both of which I will get to later. Now remember matter is confined by the physics of 3-D space, but information or mathematics is not. For instance the concept of a number like 1, is not an actual thing. It does not exist in 3-D space because it just an idea. We humans associate the number with something else. The number itself is universal whether you are American, Chinese, French, or extraterrestrial. 1 will always be 1. You can not see the number but you can see examples of it as perceived by your brain. This is what is called a "constant." I don't care where you are, it will always be the same. Remember, on non-corporeal (not material or made of matter) things like the number one exist outside of the 3-D realm. Here's an interesting example. Suppose you are in a world that is 2-D like a sheet of paper. You would have no idea that there was a 3-D world unless something from the 3-D world like a knife were to intersect your plane. Still though the point at where the knife intersected your reality would leave some kind of evidence like another line or a funny looking shape. You would assume that there is something beyond your realm because the shape of the object intersecting your plane would change shape over spacetime. Now let's take this in to our familiar 3-D world. We see everything around us, but simultaneous to what we perceive as reality there are higher dimensional forces interacting and altering our 3-D space, but we can't actually see those. We see evidence of this in the form of motion and linear (past-future) time and gravity. To get a more physical example of these non physical things take a strip of paper and turn one end so that it not flat anymore but flipped over onto itself. Tape that end to the other end. Now the strip of paper had two sides before you did this didn't it, well not anymore. It now has only one side. If you trace a line around the paper it will fall back into itself. Seeing what linear time looks like in higher dimensional spacetime looks like this. If you were traveling in a car on the surface of what you just made called a mobius strip you would appear to be always moving forward, but in actuality you would be contained within something that you couldn't see unless you were in 3-D like you are when you look at the mobius strip and see it for what it is. Interesting heh?
Every event that transpires is based upon components of higher dimensional space that our brain simplifies in 3-D. Now Einstein said that simultaneous as an event (we'll call an event a ball bumping into another ball) occurs there are an infinite quantity of alternate events that do occur based on prior different events chained over spacetime, but our brain can only perceive a single event at one time in the 3-D world. This gets a little mind boggling when the concept of "infinite" comes into play. We use relative terms to describe infinity but most frequently referanced to is the concept of God, a force with no beginning and no end, just omnipresence no matter when and where you are in linear time. An example of where a paradox of infinity and the opposite of infinity occur is in a Black Hole. A black hole is a place where gravity is so strong and matter becomes so dense that the universe implodes to create an infinitely dense point called a "singularity." Remember a singularity is a point that something goes closer and closer to 0 but never actually gets there. For those of you who passed Algebra II you may remember this as Asymtotes of a Hyperbolic Function. (I guess I actually payed attention once or twice myself) The number .01 is further away from the singularity than 0.00000000001 because the smaller number is closer to zero but isn't there. The mathimatical function will never get to 0 but keep getting damn closer all the time. Black Holes have been proven to exist in outer space as the result of a collapsing star that was very large or made up of a lot of matter. It became so heavy that it sort of crushed itself backwards into a singularity. Nothing escapes a Black Hole, not even light itself. As matter or light photons grow closer to the black hole then are drawn in at the Swartzchild radius (Named after some pocket protector geek I'm sure) or point where they begin to dive into oblivion they gain accellaration from an external perspective but because the geometry of spacetime is bent into the shape of a funnel so severely time is exponentially altered meaning the same time it takes for something to travel 50 feet would take longer and longer because spacetime had been stretched out longer and longer. Remember the singularity doesn't exist in 3-D space but the result of the singularity, The black hole does. All this directly relates to the fact that the Black Hole's Gravity has warped spacetime.
You see the black hole created infinite Gravity or force that bends spacetime. What's interesting about Gravity is that all matter creates gravity, but depending upon the mass of the object depends on how it is affected by another object. For instance, your body is creating Gravity that pulls on the Earth, but the Earth creates way more gravity than you so you are pulled toward it meaning you're not going to fly off into space. Scientist have used an example of this concept that was arrived to by Einstein as a sheet with balls sitting in it. If you have a heavy lead ball that is about an inch round, and a huge beachball and you roll a marble across the sheet, where will the marble go? The beachball doesn't have that much mass. Sure it's big, but it isn't heavy so it doesn't distort the sheet (spacetime), now the lead ball really bends the sheet causing the marble to roll toward it. This is gravity. Now for an object to not fall into the Gravity "well" of another object it must be able to escape from the larger source of gravity by manipulating it's location in spacetime proportional to the force acting upon it. An example is the moon. The moon's location in spacetime is such that it is in equilibrium with Earth. The moon to us, as we perceive it, is moving in a big circle around the earth that keeps it from crashing into the planet. If the moon was stopped dead in space it would crash into Earth because Earth has greater mass than the moon. This doesn't happen because the moon has found a comfortable spot where it can keep doing it's thing for all of time or until something else does something to it to change it's equilibrium. Now to make you see this better, watch as water goes down the drain. As long as the little toy boat keeps going in a circle around the outside of the whirlpool it won't sink to the bottom, but if you stop the boat it will get pulled in real fast and sink. Gravity is exactly like this. Examples of gravity in equilibrium in space beyond our moon include the planets around the sun, the sun around the galaxy. All of these things have found an equilibrium around a source of Gravity. Can you actually see what gravity looks like? No. But you can see the result of what gravity does? Yes.
Now inside of an atom things get screwy. Atoms are those tiny little particles that make up all the matter we perceive in the 3-D reality. Atoms are tough for people to grasp any idea of how small they are. Many billions of atoms can fit on the top of a needle. To understand how much a number like a billions is, imagine spending $100 every five minutes for 95 years. Atoms have their own dynamics that are derived from higher dimensional space. They follow certain rules in 3-D space but Atoms represent basic units or sets of operations that are assembled to from more complex mathematical operatons. For instance atoms can join together to form new compounds, and even atoms chained together to form complex amino acids and encrypted information make up the very physical essense of a living thing like a human being. DNA is actually just a very complex mathematical arrangement of atoms.
"So how does quantum physics apply to me? Why should I care about this?" Well here's something that you must first realize. Everything that you perceive happening is a result of things you can't see. Even your own brain is a supercomplex system of mathematical equations and operations that are in constant flux to generate a set domain of events based upon input that has been recieved by it. The funny thing about the computer you are you using right now and your brain is that they're basically the same thing in many ways. You see the computer has what are called input devices, and output devices, it stores programs that do things and manipulate or gain information from those devices. Now I can hear you grumbling now, "Well I'm not a computer, I have emotions, and can create things on my own. I have free will." Let's look at that for a minute. Your brain has input devices just like the computer, that are called sight, the ability perceive sound, odor, temperture, pressure, pain, taste and flavor, and output devices like, your emotions, your speech, you're ablity to manipulate a 3-D world, your ability to extrapolate interpretations of gained information to base a conclusion or judgement. How the brain reacts to a stimulus depends upon the entirety of what data it is given, and this includes emotions. If you never knew that your favorite pet died, would you be sad. No. You wouldn't be sad until that information was input into your brain, then you would output the emotion of sadness and it would be seen in your body movement and facial expressions as output. Free will itself is a derivative of a complex set of operations that occur electrochemically in the brain. A stimulus generated by the brain based upon previously collected information causes it to chain events into more stimuli. This is learning. Free will and learning are linked. What the brain collects and stores like a Hard Drive is memory. The memory itself is not an actual thing you can touch like the binary 0's and 1's zipping though the CPU of your computer millions perhaps billions of times per second. We know it's there because we perceive it or can see the result of it. How a human or any living thing reacts to a stimulus is based upon a combination of previously learned information and experimentation. The electromagnetic information of your personality and collected data or "spirit" if you will is contained within the matter of the brain, but the actual information itself is not, and therefore not confined to corporeal 3-D reality. This means that in actuality life is a derivative of occurances in higher dimensional space. You DO have a spirit in this sense, and it IS separate from your body. Your body and the things you do in life are related to this complex living equation that is a manifestation of things occuring outside of reality. We are all unique because we occupy a different location in space time. You are not conceived in exactly the same location in the universe as someone else, this means you will be different. Life and the universe itself has been likened to a Fractal, or complex mathematical equation that contains order that can only be obtained from choas. The only way the order exist though is to perceive it from the choas. Again there is a paradox here where both concepts act simultaneous yet in distinct separation. What people say is order can be interpreted as choas from a different perspective. For example music is a complex set of fractal equations based upon the association of an incremental number system of tones. The brain can turn music, mathematical data, into emotions, images, thoughts, and creative inspiration. Music is a universal language because it's basis is mathematical and remember math is not confined to 3-D space. Order is what YOU make of it.
Can we perceive higher dimensional reality? Perhaps we can. Remember basing what I'm about to say on the fact that the information that makes up a thought, memories, or personality is not located in our 3-D world it makes a whole lot more sense. When you go to sleep your input devices (the senses) shut down. Your brain separates itself from it's sources of input. Then what happens you are just a program that is running and interacting with non-corporeal forms of input. Dreams. What are dreams? A dream itself can seem as real as being awake, but again you are travelling without actually moving. Your mind is becoming aware of higher dimensional reality where concepts like linear time and the confines of 3-D matter don't apply. In this interpretation of reality is maleable and directly related to how you perceive or manipulate it. More than likely my theory applies to genuine psychics or prophets as well. What you must realize by now after getting this far in my essay is that past and future have no basis in truth, they are just illusions that are created by matter and our perception of matter. Spacetime exists everwhere and the future and past are just as perceiveable as a tree down the street or a car in the road behind us if we can evolve or learn this perception. I've seen scientific study done on telepathy and telekinesis and these things are actually not so mystical when you take what I have said here into account. If you are aware of higher dimensions of reality then you can know the future and the past and you can gain access to the ability to alter 3-D space by interacting with higher space. For instance if you manipulate higher dimensional spacetime by changing something that would be located in the past in the material world then it will disappear from the present in the 3-D world. Some have spoken about astralflight and Out of Body Experiences where they separated from their physical body and tapped into this higher dimension in some fashion.
If humans beings and all living and non-living things have a connection to higher dimension of reality, and our bodies are only material manifestations of our information or spirit then what happens to the information of us when we die in this 3-D material world? Remember when I explained that the brain can become detatched from it's sources of input during dreams, well similar too is death only the detatchement is total. The body loses it's ability to contain the electromagnetic energy that makes a human alive, that electromagnetic energy just doesn't simply erase. It just separates from the physical, and the energy itself existing outside of 3-D space is aware of higher dimensional space where what the information perceives becomes reality to the spirit. Time is meaningless so likely when the collective essense of a human being goes here it may seem like an eternity or seconds depending upon the perspective of the viewer. There is also a good likelihood that your thoughts that existed in life carry over in afterlife as electromagnetic energy and can manifest themselves as apparitions in 3-D space resulting in ghosts or after images of life. Interestingly enough often times hauntings can take place for hundreds of linear years. In higher dimensional space linear time does not apply so any manifestations in 3-D space of thoughts would seem to appear for hundreds of years because the living energy that caused the effects that altered reality would be omnipresent in at the location in spacetime close to where the thought was generated. Thoughts themselves can exist and manifest themselves in the 3-D reality as apparitions rippling across the geometry of higher dimensional space and becoming manifest in the 3-D space. Non-corporeal entities can be aware of corporeal entities made of matter because rememeber the body is a kind of viewable reflection of higher-dimensional space where the information that makes you, you, exists. In the higher dimensional space is the actual unique electromagnetic/informational pattern of the living thing and lifeforms existing in these higher dimensions could be aware of 3-D lifeforms but we wouldn't be aware of them in our 3-D world. Remember back to my example of the 2-D space where you wouldn't know of 3-D space unless someone intersected it. Same thing. Taking this into account, there may actually be lifeforms that have evolved their perception to include higher dimensional space meaning they exist in reality at the same location in spacetime as we do. These lifeforms could theoretically exist all over linear time. Right now there could be a non-corporeal entity walking though your wall though you and out the other wall, also too the entity could be occupying the same location of spacetime in a higher dimension but would appear to stay in the same place for hundreds of years to us in 3-D space. If you're smart you would have said by now, "Well the planets and stars, and galaxy move around in 3-D space so how can these spirits stay in the vacinity of earth, wouldn't they just drift off in space because they had disconnected from the material world and became sort of stuck in spacetime and lost?" No, because of gravity. Gravity affects higher dimensions of spacetime meaning that things existing in greater than 3 dimensions would still suffer the affects of gravity. The electromagnetic energy containing information would be drawn toward the source of gravity in spacetime meaning higher dimensional life could exist simultaneous to lower dimensional life.
Perhaps the Magick and alchemy of civilization's antiquity is today's Quantum Physics. There may have been a time before the distractions of modern life when ancient cultures knew of afterlife because they could perceive it moreso than we can today. Native Americans often held their land sacred because they knew that their ancestors occupied the same lands and places that they did. Many ancient cultures believed in an afterlife or communication with a non-corporeal realm. The very premise of heaven can be found in this notion.
