 INVISIBLE PLATFORM
Glitches, glitches, and more glitches. Zelda 64 has produced a prolific progeny of these programmer oversights, and by now you, just as I are getting used to seeing all these. In actually the game is very well made, but the determination of people like all the gamers who created these glitches on this site has proven to outwit even the most fastidious programmer. You will notice that most of the Out of Gaming Environment glitches are caused by "no clipping" the barrier polygons that prevent you from passing though objects like walls and rocks and so forth. When you dismount from epona using swordless link it breaks the game's "rules" and causes it to produce like a snowball effect more glitches and errors. Here's an interesting glitch that Daniel Rodriguez found and it makes you wonder, "Why did they make a platform in the middle of nowhere?"

This isn't so much of a bug but an expansion on other bugs. First you have to do the swordless Link trick. Go to the
Gerudo Fortress with Epona. Then dismount using either your ocarina or deku nuts. Guide Epona back out the
entrance of the Gerudo Fortress. Once she can't go anymore, pull out your hookshot and use it. You'll hear many
beeps. Use your deku nuts and only the deku nuts to get out of this. You'll now be in a true first person view and should
still have Epona at the entrance. Now, press the blue button to disappear and remount on epona at the entrance. If
done correctly, you should now be on epona while still in the entrance section, a part you couldn't go without leaving
the Gerudo Fortress. This in itself is quite unusual. You can see out of the fortress at the cloudy backdrop. Now, get off
Epona however you can (your options vary from time to time). You'll be drawn toward the backdrop. Instead of falling out
over the edge like you'd expect, you can only fall in one of two places. One place, you will see nothing but link and a
black background, and he will fall for a few seconds and die. Another place, you can fall, but you will land on an
invisible platform. It's like the ending when you are talking to Zelda while floating. Once there, you can walk around and
do whatever you want. I haven't tested everything at this point yet, but there is a second hole in this invisible platform
where you will die if you fall through it. A useless glitch, but still interesting to see.
