![]() TRIFORCE IN THE PROGRAMMERS CODE? First off, let me start by saying that I don't endorse of support anything that you read in this page because personally I don't have the equipment available to me to decompile Zelda 64 and prove what this individual says. I can only speculate on the information he provides. Whether or not it is true is something you have to decide. If taken as is, this proves the triforce is in the game, but unobtainable and only in the programmers code.
Hey man, i just saw ur update and you still dont know why u can equip the mediallions, i got a jap. rom version of Z64 and I
decompiled it. I scanned the code (there's a lot of wasted/commented out stuff on the American) and the Forest Mediallion does no
such thing like a spell. The Forest Mediallion Placement code (&H00F1A) is only usedin the temple of time.
This does make an interesting case for my comments about the Triforce being in the game but "supressed" withing the code of the cart and unviewable or unobtainable by the ordinary gamer with an N64. Again, though I can't prove any of this information so I can't say it's all true. If as he says it is possible to access this then this shows that at one point in time there was a way to view those screens or obtain them but it was left unused in the final production copy of the game. The programmers code tells the truth about Zelda 64 and shows where and what make up the game but all in all at any given point during production the whims of the designers and story editors can change what is done so that information gets scrapped and/or reworked around the new routine. Undoubtedly this could be the case here. So there WAS a way to get the Triforce but now it isn't even available to the average gamer without the ability to decompile the game. I am only posting information about the programmers code once (this will be the only page in the issue) because if I leave it open ended I will be buried in fake, erroneous, and deceptive remarks about how to get the Triforce. Even this one is a big ? because, well, I can't prove it, neither can about 99.99 percent of other gamers who don't have a device able to access, decompile, read, and execute the game data via a computer. |
