You know, a little over a year ago I started the Odyssey of Hyrule website with the vision that someday I could actualize the fruition of it's potential for becoming a source for everything that is Zelda. With my innate creativity and spirit of imagination as well as the support and inspiration of fans I have done what I originally set out to accomplish despite the obstacles standing in the way. I owe much of that success to the many gamers and fans that visit this site each day. This site is not solely for my benefit but a gift to anyone in the world that can see it. You see, we gamers are all the same no matter what race, sex, or religious distinction, we play the games to be part of something greater, to escape from the mundane reality that we exist within, and just have fun. It could be called a uniting element that binds the core of our aspirations for the future. Many of us gamers have grown up in the era of a very changing world where mediums of mass communication like the internet have made themselves manifest and the technological development of society has entered an age of unprecedented growth. And so too have our experiences evolved into more than just games to pacify boredom but rather actual memories or transcendient excursions into the realms of imagination. As the new millenium quickly approaches and as we grow older will be faced with many new challenges and responsibilites and one thing that must never be forgotten is the freedom and the fun that we had while playing the games. We gamers of this generation will become the lawmakers and shapers of tomorrow's society as the control of the generation of our parents and their parents wanes into the mists of the past. It is our duty to carry on this spirit of freedom and knowledge to future generations and to correct the mistakes of our predecessors. We have the power, to actualize our imagination's desire, to create the adventuresome quests we seek, and to endow our world with the fruits of creativity's freedom. There is no limit to what people can do if they truly believe it can happen.

I, Video Gamer X, thank all the people that have contributed their opinions, thoughts, ideas, emotions, and experiences regarding a hallowed classic in the legacy of adventures. You all have been and always will be an inspiration to continue doing what I am doing and your positive input has been a driving force. I also want to thank the creator of Zelda, Shigeru Miyamoto, and Nintendo's belief in his ideas, for making this website possible. Although, I am only one person, I have created a lasting voice across the macrocosm of cyberspace, and I hope to continue to be your source for information on the greatest Video Games ever made.
