AUTOPOPULATED RESPONSES FROM NINTENDO INDICATE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ZELDA FANS
It would seem that thousands of angry and offended Zelda fans have sent emails to Nintendo in disdain for what's been done in the newest example of the GameCube Zelda game in development. Everybody who emails them will always receive the SAME email response, and that response itself doesn't address the issue directly rather they beat around the bush and shove a plateful of propaganda in front of your face. Figures, same old corporate policy. Policy sucks I say! Why doesn't someone up there at Nintendo HQ actually get some balls and address this issue before it really gets ugly. The gamers have spoken, and there needs to be TWO Zelda games, put double the guys on it, just for the love of god make TWO Zelda games if you want to cater to the kids, then do it, but make one for everyone else for crying out loud.
Here's Nintendo's Reply Everyone Keeps Getting:
Hello,
Thank you for your e-mail. I'm sorry to hear of your outrage towards the new Zelda.
At Nintendo, we believe that the NINTENDO GAMECUBE will succeed or fail on the basis of bringing players something innovativesomething new. That holds from the shape of the console, to its connectivity with Game Boy Advance, to some ground breaking new titles.
The new Zelda is just another example of that desire to be different. What you see on screen is not only an unprecedented form of animation in a video gamebut more importantly, an artistic vehicle for Mr. Miyamoto to reinvent the Zelda series, just as he has for the past 15 years.
We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us, and have forwarded your comments to the appropriate department for further review.
Sincerely,
Nintendo of America Inc.

"An artistic vehicle for Miyamoto to reinvent the series" - Reinventing the entire ambiance and overall feeling of the game is not necessarily a good thing when it detracts from the quality of the storyline and doesn't improve the impowering epic feel of the legend. I watched the footage of the Cartoon Zelda, albeit the music was acceptable, but it wasn't where the game should look to cater to gamers over the age of 12. The best solution for everyone is to make BOTH Spaceworld 2000 and Spaceworld 2001 Zelda's to keep everyone happy. Will they do that? Unfortunately when it comes to dollars and cents, a "sound financial model" usually wins over the hearts and feelings of gamers who enjoy the games. I think only extensive feedback from gamers will result in changes, however to Nintendo, American audiences are in general second on their list to Japanese gamers. You see the Japanese gamers need to petition Nintendo of Japan because they make all the big decisions, not NOA. NOA is just a branch of the company stationed here in the US, they do some work with Local developers, but nowhere near the involvement of NOJ.
