COMPARING ZELDA'S

Okay, so you've seen the video, now I want to show you how far inferior this looks to what Zelda could be, taking shots I've gathered from various sources. This will be a comparison of the Zeldas that could be made. I've taken the liberty of assembling images of Link from 3 things produced by Nintendo, the GameBoy commercial, the Spaceworld 2000 Demo, and Smash Brothers Melee and placed it next to the Cel-Shaded version. If anyone tells me that Nintendo is not trying to cater to children with the new Zelda compared to what COULD BE DONE, then they really need to reexamine the facts and take a good look at these pictures.

WHICH VERSION LOOKS BETTER?
WHICH VERSION WOULD YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE?

THIS ONE?

OR THIS ONE?

I think these images speak for themselves. Nintendo and Shigeru Miyamoto have all the tools, yet they are not using them. Fine, you want a Sub-Chibi Link and a Disney storyline, go ahead make that game, however don't leave anyone over the age of 12 out in the cold, another Zelda NEEDS TO BE DEVELOPED or the series will suffer a devastating blow. The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time was the one few saving graces for me for N64, it was the best game the system had to offer amist a crapload of horrible children's platformers, and lame games, without an RPG in sight anywhere. GameCube isn't a total loss without Zelda considering they have Metroid, which I saw in action in a video and it looked impressive, as well as some of the Third Party titles being produced outside of Official Nintendo studios. WaveRace doesn't look that bad, but then again this is a niche game, I have WaveRace 64 from N64, and I haven't played it since about a month after the N64 debuted. This is all well and good, but without a Zelda game for me to call home, it just won't be the same.
