![]() HYRULE CASTLE IS ALL WET! The Following trick will prove that there is nothing beyond Hyrule castle or the drawbridge. This is a cool find. *You MUST be a kid, duh) 1. Go to The sign that says Dead End it is right before where you get din's fire. 2. Now at the sign turn to the left and you should see a corner. 3. go to the coner and try to go up a little. (this may take a couple tries you need to walk at it at the right angle) 4. Now when your there press C-Up and look for the polyline and line it up directly in the middle of the swoard icon. 5. Now carefully work your way up the wall slowly or else you will fall and have to start over agian. (this also works in some other places) 6. Once on the grass above where you were head towards the castle don't get to close beacause the poloygon that goes beahind the castle is slippery and will make you slide through the gate. 7. Go to the top of the of the hill and slowly work your way behind the castle. (make sure your on top of the polygon or you'll fall) 8. once to the edge look to the left and you'll see a stream now run as fast as you can at the stream. 9. At first you should fall but you should end up in some water and swiming towards the surface. 10. now your there inside the castle looks great doesn't it? Another great glitch by "The Sandman" First let me tell you that when you climb the corner of the land you must do it at a very specific point or link will fall halfway up the climb. On the first try I made it up, but every time after that when I tried the trick I seemed to keep falling off the corner because I was going up too fast. Basically Link's legs must straddle the two polygonal sections of land and you must slowly apply pressure to the control stick. Haste makes waste in this case, so just walk Link slowly up the embankment until he gets to the grass above. You will discover how the "Illusion" of a video game world is created with texture mapped polygons. While standing on the edge of the hill polygon take a look into the black pit underneath the gaming environment at night and you will see the SUN moving underneath you! Weird huh. Furthermore, when you eventually make it to the area by the stream you will fall then fall deep into the water. For me the camera left Link and was hang way underneath in the water far below link. I couldn't even Up-C it back. Come to find out Hyrule castle is a BIG LAKE inside. Heh, Heh. Just swim around inside of it looking up at suspended in air polygonal sections. Addendum: Well, come to find out the sandman probably just copied this trick from another website belonging to "Defect X" a webmaster of another Zelda site entitled "The Temple of Light" I think I'm going to have to send "The Sandman" to the "wall of shame" so he can take a nap for awhile. If he reworded it, it would have been fine, but he just copied it from someone else directly. There is the possibility that this isn't case but I can't be sure about it, and I'm not going to put myself on my own wall of shame for copying someone else's work. Credit for this trick goes to "Defect X" but I still don't know if he found it or was the first to show it. Next time if you're going to send me a trick make it unique or if it's someone else's then say so. You'll still get credit for bringing it to my attention, but the other guy who found it first will also get credit. That's fair. Don't you think. ![]() Back to the Odyssey of Hyrule |
