WHAT YOU THOUGHT ABOUT ARIANA'S TRIFORCE

After posting the two pages about the supposed Triforce discovery of Ariana, I received quite a bit of mail. Some agreed with me, some didn't know what to think, and some still think it is real. Me personally, I believe it was a very elaborately coreographed hoax devised by this "Ariana" person to get 15 minutes of fame. If somehow, someway, her ramblings lead to the Triforce, then I will then eat my words, but until that day happens (which I think it never will!) I will remain firm in my belief that she was merely misleading and deceiving people.

HERE'S WHAT YOU THOUGHT ABOUT IT

Ed Henderson Wrote: I have looked all through yours and the site that Ariana first sent her "triforce secret" to, and I haven't seen a letter that states the important fact that I will say here. IF THE OWL IS RAURU, THEN WHY THE HELL DOES HE TALK TO YOU IN THE TEMPLE OF LIGHT. I mean, come on, I REALLY wanted to believe her, but this shows it probably can't be. If the owl teaches you the song, then why does he all of a sudden become Rauru, and talk to you half a second later. I hope that for some reason I am wrong, because I want to find the triforce, but really, this evidence is quite convincing. One second this "mystery sage" is the owl, and the next, BOOM, he's Rauru, I mean: WHAT?????? Oh well, I hope that this point is wrong, or that there is another way to get the force, but for now I am pretty sure I'm right, but we'll find out sooner or later right (I hope)? Anyways, if you get this e-mail before my other one, entitled "Glitch - or is it?" please read that too, because maybe the running guy will give you some hints, but that's pretty far out.

Mearples Wrote: I just wanted to say that i really like your site i check back about every day for the latest news rumors. But now i am sick of all these sick people in this world who want 5 minutes of fame. Here is one thing that i noticed while looking at the tv stand picture. On the left side of the stand there are some wierd cables that connect to a place in the distance. I wonder why links sword came out backwards. Ah well. Thanks again for making the best Zelda site on the net and keep up the good work.

Spmaster943 Wrote: I'm not willing to belive the pictures are fake...yet. There has to be more to the game hidden somewhere then there already is and this is the best proof i've seen. You mentioned about the sword on the wrong side (that I can't explain) but the reason the font looks wrong on the "Temple Of Light" lettering is probebly because the picture was taken when the letters were fading out.

ZeroX88 Wrote: I wanted to say that you are real cool for figuring out the scam sent in by someone from Columbia. It must either be the earthquakes or too much coffee!

DARREN069 Wrote: Alright first of all I sort of believe the girl on her triforce rumor. But I think its just a little suspicious how on the picture of the the tv and the "Temple of light" She first of all has only six hearts and a little magic meter? Does this mean anything, probably not? Secondly if you notice theres no controllers or the actual 64 system anywhere around the tv. Of courese it could be underneath somewhere but i dont know. I think she needs to present a little more proof. I think someone else should take the picture with ariana actually pointing on the screen. Also keep in mind all those bullshit rumors weve had. And there is a way that people like Ariana could fake this. Remember she said that that the triforce doesnt go in the inventory. Well then that means that Call Me Link guy sent us a phony picture of the the triforce in the inventory if what Ariana says is true. And if that guy could send us a phony triforce then there theres a chance maybe Ariana is true but shes just a hell of alot smarter. I think its great someone actually has beleivable pictures but then how could all of those other mysterious pictures that have been made, made.

Corey Whiting Wrote: Now, i have beaten the game, gotten 100 skulltullas done all of that. I also am very good with computer graphics design. I have a few things to point out on the pictures that she sent to you.
1A. If you look, it seems that in the picture that says "Temple of Light" the font seems different than when you enter the other temples. 1B. Also with those words "Temple of Light", the whole picture is slanted slightly, except for the words.
2. On that same picture, the walls seem oddly similar to the walls in a Great Fairy Fountain.
3. On the picture that has link staring at the Triforce, ok now Link's hat is little lengthy, the Triforce is cut up, there is a strange black line going through the picture.
4. She obviously has some knowledge of cameras. The Overture of Sages picture and the Temple of Light picture are very good looking and have very good resolution. Why the heck didn't she do the same thing for the Triforce picture? That ones looks TERRIBLE.

Tim Williams Wrote: It's me again, if you remember me. I previously wrote an email about some strange things that i saw in Ocarina of Time about things that could lead to the triforce. But now, obviously you have decided to end the rumors section due to the biggest hoax Ocarina of Time fans have ever seen. I admit, I was also amazed. But there's always one thing in common about these hoax people, especially her. You saw what she was like "I will not tell you unless you give me the respect I deserve!" and all this other crap. First, we don't even know her. They never come out straight by telling us how to do it either. They say things like "I worked so hard to get the triforce and took me (insert # of hours/days here) to find it. Now you will have to get it yourself. By the way, take a look at this neat screen shot of me getting it." And they show a pic like the triforce filled in on the menu sub-screen just to tease you. I don't know what it is with people wanting attention with the triforce. Either you have it or you don't have it. I think that Adriana (was that her name? The girl for Coloumbia) paid someone to make those computer images from the rom that they hacked into or she did it herself. On the n64gamer site, which you provided the link to she says she's "upset" that no one will believe her. Yeah right, she's upset she got proven false by eagle-eyed gamers like us :P. I also noticed that the Temple of Light letters needed more shading and looked sort of transparent and so did some of the C-commands in the right hand corner. And wouldn't it be called Light Temple instead of Temple of Light if it did exist? Like Fire Temple, Water Temple blah blah blah. They were never called Temple of Fire or Temple of Water. Anyway, that is behind us now and doesn't matter, I could care less how they did it. Just another prank to get our hopes up. On another topic, I think I may have solved some of the pics under your "Z" Files section. That's what this letter is about. The picture of that strange temple you see, that was an early picture in the game for preview purposes only. As you can see, Link is holding the Hylian shield and it is missing the red bird as it is in the final version. And the pic w/ the stalfos and all those rupees, Nintendo Power sent a video advertising Star Fox 64 (if you got NP back in May or June two years ago you may have gotten it). That video is hilarious! I loved it! Well, at the end they were advertising upcoming games and the last one was Zelda 64, just showing quick movie clips that's it. It showed all of those rupees in the video, and I just think those are early models of the game which were later changed. The font style looks different, like italics and the C buttons were much larger than what they really are and the hearts look rounder. It also showed that wierd blue looking stone thing in which the triforce was coming out of in the other pic which you used to have up at the bottom of your page. It didn't show the triforce, but that well thing. It's just early modeling of the game. That's all I think. I will be checking up on your site for updates!

Video Gamer X Responds: Indeed, you are right about many of those things. I had let my subscription to Nintendo Power run out at that time, and didn't get the video, but yes, many of the Images from the Z-Files are from early developmental stages of the game's creation. They were either, 1. taken out of the cart before it went to production, 2. some (Unicorn Fountian, use of Medallions) could have been supressed (non-accessable) within the ROM, or 3. these sections or abilities were intended for the 64DD, and were screenshots taken from that Zelda 64 add-on Disk.

LEATHAL Wrote: Listen, I know I e-mail you too much and all, but I have to say, WE CAN'T GIVE UP ON THIS. Ohh, and, HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A SIMPLE GLITCH?!?!?!?!?! THAT IS WHAT IT COULD BE, AND THE TEMPLE OF LIGHT LETTERING WAS FINE, LISTEN MAN, I AM A 3D GRAPHICS PROGRAMMER, AND I KNOW FOR A FACT, THAT NO ONE COULD MAKE THAT FROM SCRATCH, WITHOUT ABOUT 1 AND A 1/2 FOR EACH PICTURE, AND NO BODY WOULD DO THAT, YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME, WE HAVE TO KEEP LOOKING, WE JUST DO, WE MUST, WE CAN'T STOP, THE FATE OF MY SANITY IS IN YOUR HANDS MIYAMOTO, TELLS US ALREADY, I'LL BE SATISFIED WHEN HE SAYS "The Triforce is not in Zelda 64 American Version, nor any other versions of the game." THAT WILL SATISFY ME, BUT I DON'T THINK IT'LL EVER HAPPEN, SO WE MUST KEEP SEARCHING.

Chris Wrote: HAHAHAHAHA NOW WHAT??? I dont mean to brag, but I am Chris, old email ([email protected]) You received messages from me telling you I found the TRIFORCE, I even told you it is in the Temple of Light even before you got those pictures, or did you not believe me? God, I dont want to brag, but WHO THE F***ING MAN NOW? I might tell you, and like I said before, if you wouldve teached me how to take a screenpic I wouldve done it, but you DONT EVEN ANSWER my email. I STILL dont want to tell you where it is. TELL THAT COLUMBIAN GIRL I FOUND IT F***ING FIRST. PUT THIS ON YOUR PAGE FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE. I FOUND IT FIRST!!!!!!! Want me to refresh your memory? Here is a copy of the email I sent you on Friday, January 29 and January 23, I saved them in my "sent" folder. I can give you lots more pictures if you would just ANSWER my emails. Here they are:

This Chris Guy did me the favor of attaching his previous E-mails to that one above.

Well..........
Listen up
Go to the Fanatic Poe Man..the guy who sells and buys poe's....I know you have noticed the picture that he drew of the Triforce on his wall. If you notice closely, the bottom right triforce piece is larger than the other two. Isnt the bottom right piece the TRiforce of Courage, Link's piece? hehehe.........maybe that guy saw the "triforce" and drew it....so maybe he can tell you something.......or maybe not.....hehe I am still not telling you. but god.....you giving up ope and saying Triforce is not real? THen why the f*** my game have it? only 1 ZELDA 64 game has it and the rest of you are f***ed? YOu quit too easily...learn to be patient and dont give up......because if you say the triforce is false in ZELDA 64, your going to feel like an idiot when Nintendo reveals it, because nobody that hasfound the triforce...Im not talking about those idiots on your Triforce rumors page, maybe that guy on your Triforce "GEt THe FULL STORY" section is right.....because it does fill in that part of the quest status screen. Again,
The Temple of Light does exist my friend......THe Temple of Light has many names.....remember the lots of symbolisms in Zelda......I amnot going to tell you, but how much more hints do you want
Again I say
Good Luck

Yes.....I have the Triforce.
My gray Zelda 64 has the Triforce found. Now, Your asking How? Well, How about I dont bring up your hopes, No, I am not going to tell you. I will not leave you emtpy handed though, atfer all my brainstorming and ideas that I had to try and fail many times, I finally found the most evlusive part of this game. All that nonsense on your Triforce Rumours and Triforce Found part is trash. I have 79 Skulltullas, so that Triforce Found section can be erased off your page now unless there is another version of Zelda. I was not about to get 100 skulltullas to go for a wild goose chase. Another thing, What is this I read aout a Sky Temple or a Sky Fortress? If you find these places, please tell me,because I have the Triforce and never crossed their paths. I will tellyou this, The Triforce is found in the Temple of Light. That is what it said when I entered it. Now, go yourself, break your head, and go after every idea of getting the triforce to find it. Took me long enough to just tell you so you can tell the whole world. I think the triforce is good for Zelda, keeps people playing. And I have no idea how to take a screenshot of my game on my television screen. If you teach me....I may take a picture of the Temple of Light....maybe. I will show you the Triforce in my Quest Status screen though. One other thing, if I wouldve known how to get the triforce when I was breaking my head to find it, I wouldve slapped myself in the face. It is not as hard as I thought, just think.

Video Gamer X adds: Uh huh, SURE you found the Triforce. You know what, this almost seems like the same guy who sent me that image with the Triforce in the quest status. Could it be...him? Na, no way....

BoNdFxX did a little investigating and provided: Here's some things for you to think about..

This is a comparison with Rupee icon and coloring in Ariana's Fake ahemmm pic

T1g3rShark Wrote: Okay ever hear of the UltraHLE? Its a Nintendo64 emulator (go to emuunlim.com). Its hard to find since Nintendo is calling it illegal (stupid fools). It was the first WORKING N64 emu. on the computer. This UltraHLE allows you to play N64 games on your computer! (Im not giving you BS so keep reading!) Okay this is a Longshot ( ;] ) but I know how this could have been faked (unless it really is real). Play Z64 on your computer (using the emu.). Alter a pic in the game (can't almost everything be done on a computer?) and then hook up you computer to a TV. Voila, the most realistic piece of crap that could be faked. And notice how amazing the Quality is of the "Overture of Sages" picture is? The Overture of Sages red writing looks too bright and brilliant for a photo or i the game itself. Either all the rumors have made me not believe anything, or I'd say this is the TIGHTEST thing to hit videogamers nationwide!

Video Gamer X adds: Did somebody say "ROM Image?" That's kind of what I guessed. I mean, on my Zelda: Then and Now page the second pic down, the Zelda II: The Adventures of Link image, was made from an emu-you-know-what (Shhh...don't tell) It's a ROM image. Suppose you could do that for Zelda 64? Follow my drift here.

I'll tell you what gamers, I will not give up entirely on the Triforce because like you I think there are some things in Zelda that remain unsolved including this issue and Ariana, but what I'm no longer going to be so hasty in saying that someone has prooven it to be real. I will not post or answer E-mails that say "I have the triforce, blah, blah, blah, but I'm not going to tell you where it is." I will also not entertain descriptions that are impossible like "you must beat the game without getting hit" or "you must go into gerudo as a kid, but I won't tell you how," or "you have to find the blue fairy" or "you must play the Moon's Song in front of the Owl" or "You must have the Fire Sword to do this". If you have screenshots then send them in, and be VERY specific, and it would help if the N64, you, and you pointing to it on the screen were in the pictures. Make sure there is no doubt that what you may have found is real. I personally doubt that the Triforce was put in the game, but you never know, by some absurd quirk of fate, maybe the Nintendo conspiracy is true, but most likely not. Usually the most simple explanation is the right one if all things are equal. - Occums Razor.
