| Welcome to a look at life on the island of Nfld. We have lots of open space and clean unpolluted air. We have no morning or evening traffic jams either. After living for 25 years or so in Southern Ontario it is a delight to live back here without all the hussle and bussle and the rat race. When I go back to Ontario to visit I always wonder what am I doing here southbound on Highway 400 on a Monday morning. | ||||||||||||||||||

| We spend most of our spare time enjoying the outdoors. Lots of trout fishing in the early spring and summer. During the winter when we have enough snow we go fishing on our snowmobiles and we also cut our own firewood with a chainsaw and haul it home with the snowmobile and a sled. The summers are pleasantly warm here and we seldom need air conditioning during the day and the nights are cool for sleeping. |
