Winnie’s new flat is brought before the hit song ‘Understanding’. She loved the flat at first sight. After four-year building and three-months renovation, she has it with a sense of great achievement.

When I entered Winne’s flat, I was surrounded by a warm feeling. All rooms are in light lemon yellow. The dark brown cupboards act as panels. The sofa from Italy is in white which acts as a balance with the dark colour cupboards. A particular point is the bamboo-colored floor. It’s a new kind of bamboo-made material. Rather than the special color and looking, this kind of floor is very environmentally friendly (doesn’t need to cut trees). Of course the price is not so ‘friendly’.

As the number of household here is small. Winnie changed the four-room-two-living room into two-room-two-living room-two-restroom. The heart of the flat is definitely the master room. Behind the living room, there’re two ways. On the left, it’s the fitting room. You can find the shining of the stage; a row of mirrors in the middle. You can find the cosmetic stuff too. Behind this is a western-styled restroom. An immediate hot bath is needed after a long hour of working. The pool of water can help to disappear the tiredness. So, a bathtub with massage function is necessary. Bedroom is on the right. Apart from a double bed, there is a piano which is very eye-catching.

You can also find more than 200 teapots (collected by her family members), a number of awards trophies, and several Gothic-styled building ‘built’ by Winnie. She builds her flat from her interests and career achievement.

“Before releasing ‘Understanding’, I had more free time to make tea and build model house. After that, the days were completely different and even I didn’t have time to teach students.” Winnie is happy to have the metal CD shelf. Though unusual in design, it’s elegant. Besides, the cabinet for TV is made from wood, and releasing light smell. You can’t find one nail from it. It lays in a corner in the living room.

終日活躍在水銀燈下，習慣著掌聲相隨的明星級公眾人物，在步下舞臺卸妝之後回到自己溫暖的家，讓心情也跟著回處平靜；即使是受到千萬影歌迷愛戴支持的名人巨星，也只有在回到自己的家裏才感到安全自在。然而螢幕前的耀眼明星又是如何照顧自己的家？讓我們一起探訪剛剛搬入新家的辛曉琪，看看這位以「領悟」奠定歌壇唱歌地位的療傷歌后，如何佈置自己的新屋。

新屋是辛曉琪在「領悟」這首歌打進華語世界的世紀震撼之前買下的。一見鍾情的她等了四年才等到新家完工，急忙中花了三個月裝修完畢。不管如何，擁有家的成就感確實是辛曉琪這些年來最大的滿足。

走進辛曉琪的家，馬上被一股暖氣所包圍，所有的房間都是以淡淡的檸檬黃為基調，眾多的壁櫃則以深棕色相輔或為視覺上的區隔，或穩定空間的動線。不過整體而言，進門之後就能感受到這個空間的明亮簡潔。有了深色的壁櫃勢必會將一部分空間明度搶去，於是辛曉琪用了一套義大利進口白色的皮沙發來緩衝色彩沉積的效果。比較特殊的是竹子色的地板，事實上這種地板也是一種新的特殊竹制建材，除了色澤與紋理不同現有的木地板之外，竹子地板還是相當環保（不用砍樹）的一種建材，當然價格也不便宜。

由於人口簡單，新家由原本的四室二廳改成了二室二廳二衛的絕對舒適格局。整間房子的重心當然是女主人房。臨近客廳，進去之後分左右兩進：左邊是衣帽間，掛滿了屬於舞臺上的眩目耀眼；中間隔著一個長條化妝台，星羅棋佈的各式化妝道具占滿了桌面。化妝台的後面是個西式的衛浴空間，由於工作時間漫長，回家時最需要的就是一池能消除疲勞的熱水，當然這浴室裏就少不了一座人人羡慕的按摩浴缸。

右邊是主臥室，除了擺著一張銅管雙人床外，最搶眼的還是那演奏型鋼琴。這鋼琴成為了臥室中的嬌客，至於何時才能琴瑟和鳴，就只能等到另因番感情有新領悟時再說了。

『出「領悟」前我的時間比較多，所以能有時間泡泡茶，做一些模型屋。「領悟」就像分水嶺一樣，之後的日子完全不同，也沒時間教學生了。』雖然日子變得忙碌，家還是得照顧好，所以從開始裝潢後，辛曉琪就積極的監工。最讓她得意的是那造型特殊的CD架。純手工打制的金屬花格CD架帶著一些古典的優雅，雖然手工造價不菲，但絕對值得。此外，客廳的梢楠木電視櫃也值得一提：當初自己獨立製作的仿古傢俱，是難得一見並且會釋出淡淡幽香的梢楠木製成，古雅造型樸實厚重，更難得之處是不用任何釘子完全以（木旬）連續的高難度演出，難得的寶貝自然受到特殊關愛，也成為客廳中最有個性的一角。

大體來說，辛曉琪的家兼具實用與美觀，美中不足是稍微有些東西混雜。但是，住得舒服才最重要。
