Did you know...If a woman bowler pays her sanction fee of $16.00 with the Waukegan Area USBC Women's Bowling Association, and wants to become sanctioned with the Lake County USBC Men's Bowling Association, she only needs to pay an additional $8.00 for the Lake County Men's local fee.
200 Pins…Ladies, remember the Waukegan Area USBC WBA Association gives out a “200” pin for those who bowl a “200” or better game regardless of your average. (this is one per season) If you have bowled a “200” or better game you should have received a “200” pin. It is yours to wear during the bowling season. Your secretary should not wait until the banquet to hand out all of the pins. If you have not received your “200” pin, please check with your league secretary.
The Waukegan Area USBC WBA will be hosting the Illinois USBC WBA Workshop on June 27, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Lake County Conference & Banquet Center in Gurnee, IL. If you are interested in attending, please contact a Board Member for a registration form. The fee is $10.00 per person which includes a lite lunch. You must pre-register by June 13, 2009. For those of you attending that will need hotel reservations, we have tentatively reserved rooms with several hotels. For reservations, please contact one of these hotels. Our Annual Meeting was held on April 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Bertrand Lanes.
