Roy E. Disney is the son of Walter Elias Disney. He was the only living Disney on the Board of directors and had his hand in the cartooning and studio segment of The Walt Disney Company. Earlier this year he retired from the board. His age had forced him to do so - upon leaving Roy stated that he should not be the one leaving the board - referring to Eisner who he claims has run to long on top of this company. In many ways he was correct.
Michael D. Eisner was also the CEO of the company. Joined in 1984 during turmoil and losses. He gave a turnaround to Disney. He began in its Film division and then helped them move to TV. Began his career at CBS then moved to ABC, whom Disney took over in 1995. He was one of the highest paid executives in America. His counterpart and co-worker is now the standing CEO. Some claim that this was done to quiet the turmoil from Roy Disney's stepping down and it is widely stated that the power is still held by Michael.
