Creating a New Lord

Ever wonder exactly how those tarot card questions Warren asks you at the beginning of the game affects what kind of Lord you end up with? Do you think Warren's questions make as much sense as Miss Cleo's ramblings? Well the fact is, your answers are recorded and tallied to determine which one of the 4 Lord types you will become. The following is a reproduction of Sprite Child's post on GameFAQ's Ogre Battle Forum in table form, explaining and breaking down the Lord selection process. Major thanks to SageAcrin for saving Sprite Child's posts and preventing them from disappearing into oblivion.

From Sprite Child:

As you progress through Warren's series of Tarots, each tarot has a value associated with each leader class. So, take Chariot for example. If you select the first answer, "Military Force," 2 points are added to the Ianuki leader's location, 5 points are added to the Poison leader location, 1 point is added to the IceCloud leader location, and 4 points are added to the Thunder leader location. Thankfully, these points are the same regardless of the position in the tarot line. After the 6 question cards, the game sums up all the points and makes a leader reflective of the highest total. Note that the last question, where you pick a random tarot from about 15 cards, is completely ignored, has no impact on your leader's class/stats, and will give you the same tarot from whatever card you pick. In the event of a tie, Ogre Battle flows down the above list of classes. If, say, all classes have 23 points, your leader will be Ianuki because it is the lowest memory address. If Ianuki is 0 but the other 3 classes are 23, you'll get a Phantom leader, and so on.

Anyhow, for this to be of any use, you need tarot values, so here are all of them...they don't depend on the name you select, the gender you select, or the position where you find them. With the 4 numbers following an answer, those are the point values associated with the classes, in the order of Ianuki, Phantom, IceCloud, Thunder.
