Ogre Battle Links

This is a list of links to Ogre Battle web pages that I have discovered and visited at one point or another.

Black Mantle's Ogre Battle Web Page for Vampyres

Hey! IMHO, this is a great site! Guess why!

March On, Black Queen!

Our rival site. House of Wacks has an excellent walkthrough section, with online maps of each stage and overall very nice layout. But some of their information is outdated and since been proven incorrect. And it doesn't seem to get updated anymore. Still, combining House of Whacks' site for the maps and this site for all other information, you'll have the most complete information on Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen on the web.

FantasyAnime's Ogre Battle Site

Another cool site about Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen. The sections definitely worth checking out are the Quest Art, Wallpaper, Music, and Downloads. The art section has high quality official artwork for the game that is pretty rare to find elsewhere on the net. The Wallpapers are nicely done if you're looking for an Ogre Battle themed desktop. The music section has some game music for you to listen to if you want to. And the Downloads section links to some useful emulators. Definitely worth a look.

The Luvalon Approved Ogre Battle Site

A recently made site that covers more of Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen. It's not finished yet, but I does have name editing codes for you hackers. Give it a visit for me and Crystalys (its webmaster).

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together

The best site on the net for the 7th episode in the Ogre Battle saga, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. There are detailed walkthrough for all three storyline paths of the game (although some seem to be incomplete at the moment). There's information on all the characters, both the major and supporting cast. There's of course the obligatory items, weapons, and tips sections. And probably the best part is the "Dojo" which allows you to download a program that lets you optimize your characters stats through class cross-training. An excellent site, plus it still gets updated from time to time.

Artist657's Ogre Battle World

A site dedicated to Ogre Battle's N64 sequel, Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber. There's good information and character bios for the main cast of hereos and villians. There's information on how to achieve the various endings of the game. And there's the mandatory item, weapons, magic, and tips lists. The best part of the site may be the awesome art galleries which have some great fan art... that actually looks like the characters, unlike most fan art that look like crap.

Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis Site

The best site to go to for the newest Ogre Battle game released for the Gameboy Adavance. Detailed information on items, characters, classes, tips, etc.

Ogre Battle Domain Message Board

Online message board about the series, mostly Ogre Battle 64 though. Makes my dead message board look even worse. If you wanna chat, by all means go here.

Ogre Battle Encyclopedia

A definitive source of the Ogre Battle series storyline. This site mainly covers characters, classes, items, and events that involve or surround all games related to the Ogre Battle Saga. A very interesting site if you want to brush up on some storyline knowledge of a particular Ogre Battle game or just want some more information on your favorite characters or stories.

Complete Endings List

The link above gives screenshots of all 13 of Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen (SNES version). The site itself has endings for many games across multiple systems. Very cool, and the person who got all the endings are is very cool too. Thank him.

Black Mantle's Fanfictions

Yes, these are stories written by the original Black Mantle, creator of this site. They are very interesting read, especially since there are few if any Ogre Battle fanfictions out there. Pay homage to the man/vampyre who created this site, and read his stories.

If this isn't enough for you, you can try one of any number of search engines, the only problem: Most search engines will come up with a horde of "Freddy Mercury" and "Queen (the band not the monarch)" sites. This is becuase Queen had performed two songs called: "Ogre Battle" and "March of the Black Queen". My suggestion is to use the above links, or be very careful about what you ask for on the search engines. Adding "Video Game" or "Enix Atlus Quest" to the search might help narrow it down. Also, you might want to try "SNES Emulation ROMs" if you're looking for the emulated version of the game. Here are some prime search engine which I use:

Basic search engines Complex or Multi-server search engines
Altavista
Hotbot
Infoseek
Lycos
Yahoo
Ask Jeeves
Dog Pile
Google Search

Non-Ogre Battle Links

Anime Web Turnpike

THE anime database website with information on anything and everything anime. If you need information on a specific series, if you need some fansubs, if you need to find that rare UFO plush doll of you favorite anime gal, Anime Turnpike is where to begin your search.

GameFAQs

GameFAQs is the best site on the internet for information on every videogame in existence. With Walkthroughs, FAQs, specific guides, movelists for your favorite game, you just can't go wrong going here. They even have message boards for you to talk to fellow gamers.

RPGFan

An RPG site. They have a friendly staff, and they have multiple reviews on both games and soundtracks. They're really up-to-date on RPG information and they occassionally have contests too, though I have yet to win any.

Shoryuken

I guess this is the place to go if you want information and the latest strategy on fighting games (mostly Capcom, and even then mostly Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Capcom vs. SNK 2). Nice place to go to if you need some fighting game help, not a good place to go to if you're looking for intelligent discussion.

Seanbaby's Page

This site is hilarious, especially the section devoted to the NES. It will definitely make you laugh out loud if you have nerdish, geeky humor like I do.

Jump the Shark

A funny site that tries to pinpoint when a TV show starts going downhill. Still can't believe some of the comments defending "The Simpsons" though. That show fell, went downhill, and is on a rocket course straight to hell ever since the 1998 season. A good laugh.

Edge Emulation

Hmm... I don't know what you can find here. Just a random site I decided to post up.

Cherry Roms

Roms stands for "Random offensive mischief"... it's not anything illegal. And somewhere in this mischief one can find Ogre Battle.
