Water Breathing - Her lungs can process the oxygen with out gills of any kind. They actually absorb the oxygen from the water.
Water Freedom � Isabella is capable of handling the intense pressures of deep water without being bothered by it over much
Communicate with animals (specifically marine life) � Weather this is a form of a linguistics gift or a form of telepathy is not yet clear, however it is apparent that Isabella has some form of ability that allows her to communicate with most marine life. It would seem that there is an intelligence factor that limits this to an extent. For instance sea urchins are a too low on the scale for real communication, however otters, whales, dolphins etc�
Water manipulation: Isabella can manipulate water that exists around her to serve various purposes. She cannot create water, but must rely on existing bodies of water. It is this power that concerns me with it�s potential for growth.
* Weakness: Her weakness is either when she is first in the water and taking the water in her lungs or when she is leaving the water and purging it from her system.

The Water breathing and water freedom come to her naturally, and instinctively, She has some control over her ability to communicate with marine life, but her control over the ability to manipulate water that is around her could definitely do with improvement.

* History: Isabella�s parents met while they were teaching at UCLA. They have traveled all over the world for their various careers taking the children with them. Recently they have lived off the coast of Hawaii, while Dr. McBride has been making interesting discoveries in the communication skills of dolphins, it was there that Isabella's mutation made itself known. While walking on the dock with her youngest sister, Meagan fell into the water and began sink.
Isabella without thinking dove into the water to save her. It was only after she had saved her sister and was back on the dock, she began to spit out the seawater that was in her lungs. Her father quickly realized what had happened but her through several tests. After many conversations with her mother, the three of them decided to contact Professor Xavier, whom they had heard of through a friend of theirs in the scientific community.
Their goal, to have Isabella live as normal life as possible and not have her turned into some kind of lab rat.
