Ball Bearing
The ball bearing is a version of Aidan's feast for six jugglers. The six
jugglers start as shown. The four counters are A and C and the three counters
are B, D, E and F. For the first pass A passes with E, C passes with F
and D passes with B.
Now E and F move round as shown in the next figure:
Now A makes two passes with C, B makes three passes with F and D makes
three passes with E.
Now E and F move round as shown in the next figure:
Now A passes with F, B passes with D and C passes with E:
This diagram is just like the first one except the jugglers have moved around!
The following table shows the complete repeating pattern of passes:
