IVW Weave

I learned this beautiful pattern at EJC2007 in Athens. Five jugglers, A, B, C, D and E walk around in a figure of eight pattern. On one side of the pattern they pass on two count and on the other side they pass on six count. Each juggler only passes with two other jugglers.

B starts juggling two count and his first pass is with A, C starts self, self and D and E start self, self, self, self. This is shown in the next diagram. The arrows show how the jugglers move.

B's second pass is with C, who at this moment is passing on six count:

Now B switches to six count and E passes on two count, starting with D. D is passing on six count.

E's next pass is with A, who is still passing on six count:

Now E switches to six count. Also C switches to two count and his first pass is with B:

This diagram is just like the first one, except all the jugglers have moved around one place.

To do a righty lefty version of this pattern change the sequence of passes from two count, six count, six count, six count to two count, four count, five count, four count.
