For the first pass A passes with B and C passes with D, then the jugglers move in the direction of the arrows:

For the second pass A passes with C and D passes with E, then the jugglers move in the direction of the arrows:

For the third pass A passes with E and B passes with C, then the jugglers move in the direction of the arrows:

For the fourth pass A passes with D and B passes with E, then the jugglers move in the direction of the arrows:

For the fifth pass B passes with D and C passes with E, then the jugglers move in the direction of the arrows:

This diagram is just like the first one except all the jugglers have moved around.
