Miracles  of  Love  Repaid  with  Ingratitude

On Nov. 11, 1932, Our Lord said to Maria Concepcion (the Portavoz): Have I not even poured out miracles of love, that they have not known how to receive with a pure heart?" Our Lord here referred to the many apparitions of Mary that had been given to the church (Lourdes, Fatima, etc.) In that message Our Lord complained of the ingratitude of so many, who after having received these miracles of love, turned their back on him.

Our Lord said that with the dissemination of the offering of victims in the world, the works of sanctity of just souls would  increase, and would obtain many graces, before the day of Judgment.

Even if you cannot perform great works, please offer small works, for example, the morning offering, a daily Rosary, a holy Hour, etc. If enough people offered such prayers and works, they could change the course of history. In the gospel Our Lord promised that even the smallest works would receive their reward. Please do what you can. The souls who pay attention to these heavenly words may have suffering now, but they will be exceedingly happy on the day of Judgment.

Message  of  November  11,  1932

Now I am going to copy some notes of thr year of 1932, on the 11th of November. This time it was something so deeply felt by me, because it was at midnight, and Jesus complained in a voice that made me cry and feel His own pain. He awakened me and said to me:

"My spouse, listen to Me. O, My beloved. . .My Victim Heart is tired of the ingratitude
of My loved ones! I am not speaking to you of the wickedness of the impious, but of the
malice of Christians.

"I am going to reveal to you openly the situation in the world, so you may better understand My mystical passion as a victim immolated for the world, as a King, a martyr of My charity for souls, and as a God scorned by My creatures.

"I have used all My wisdom in providing everyone the means to acquire the joys of My
eternal Kingdom, all My tenderness in attracting them, My kindness and My mercy, My
riches. . .My magnificence and My love!

"I have done for all what I would have done solely for My elect and, for each one, what I
did for all!

"For all I gave an example in the way through this world. For all I ascended into Heaven, returning to the Bosom of the Father, and for all I performed the miracle of the Holy Eucharist, to remain here with them. For all, not just for some, I am enclosed in the august Sacrament of the Altar.

"For all I instituted My privileged priesthood, and for all, the holy Church with her aids of indefectible virtue, and the only hope for eternity. For all I gave My words of salvation and of life contained in the Gospel of the Law of Grace and of Love, and which, with all clarity, I made known in those words: ‘Love one another and abide in Me, that we may be one in Me, as My Father and I are one.’

"But, O, My spouse. . .! What have they done with My word, My doctrine, My desires,
but mockery and crime and treason?"

(Here I must explain something: at that time I was so young and ignorant of so many things, that I wondered about these revelations Our Lord was making to me, and that is why He was instructing me, explaining to me, as on this occasion, for He continued saying to me:)

"Look, My beloved family, My Church, was established. My Kingdom was built and
extended in souls. But the eternal enemy, entering into the accursed race (thus He calls His
own Jewish race and, on other occasions, He had told me to call it that, because they themselves wanted to be called "cursed" when they said: "His Blood be upon us") by their deicide, took power of her (of the Church) and came to sow division in My family, in which, factions arising, it began to be undermined from within.

"I do not complain about the enemy or his followers, for all of them are ‘accursed.’ I
complain of those who, being Mine, have seconded the action of evil.

"Remember My words that made everything known, to alert My loved ones. Then, why
have they been scandalized and scandalized others and let themselves be scandalized? If
I had not warned them, they would be less responsible, but now, how will they excuse
themselves? Their works will judge them on the last day!

"Did I not give them the Holy Ark? (Here Jesus refers to His Church.) Have I not helped
them with pastors? I have not even ceased, pouring out miracles of love, that they have
not known how to receive with a pure heart."

(Our Lord speaks of the different apparitions of the Blessed Virgin and of Himself in the world,
speaking and warning, as He is still doing now.)

"Of all these, My spouse, do you know which are those who have behaved themselves in
that way, the ungrateful ones?

"All those who have been marked with My Redemptive Blood in Baptism, and all those
who have received the good news of the Gospel and who, nevertheless, have not wanted
to remain within My Law, in the bosom of My apostolic Roman Catholic Church (Our
Lord refers to schismatics), thus falling into the snares of the accursed ones who seek the
ruin of souls.

"These are the ones I want to save by means of My love for justice, extending the
Legion of Victim Souls, who offer themselves to My Divine Justice, for all of them.

"Among those ungrateful ones of all peoples and of all races, even of the unfaithful and
deicidal people, there are sworn enemies of My Kingdom and perverse workers under
the command of the devil himself, whose plans I will make known to you. (I thought Our
Lord Himself was going to reveal these plans to me, but it was not so. Rather, at that time, certainly by providential coincidences, a book titled, "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," came into my hands. Reading it, I understood that these were the diabolical plans of which Jesus had spoken to me. Then He confirmed it to me.) They oppress their brothers, linked as they are to My redemptive Blood, and seek the kingdom of My enemy."

That is, Jesus refers to those who, being Catholics, yield themselves to seconding in one way or another those diabolical plans, whether for convenience or for any other reason.
Then, full of tenderness, Jesus added: "These, too, I want to save. So immense is the love of
My Victim Heart!

"Some are seduced by a vile passion, others are blinded by error. I want to unite them
all, heretics or not, converting them to the true faith of My doctrine, that is only in the
Church I founded, under the rule only of My Vicar on earth. Because, at the end of time,
there must be only one fold under one shepherd.

"To work at this task, I want the children of My Order, the most beloved Order of My
Heart, the Order of victims. . . the Order of My Heart under the mantle of Mary of
Perpetual Help, and following the evangelical rule of My servant, Francis of Assisi.

"With this legion of faithful servants, with the dissemination of the offering of victims in
the world, the works of sanctity of just souls, through the merits of My Redemption, will
succeed in increasing. And, before My Justice, this will be a way to repay the debts of
the wickedness of humanity and to obtain many graces before Judgment day comes.
"For when it comes, I, the merciful Victim now, will then be an inflexible judge of
justice without appeal.
"Then I will condemn the obstinate with the wicked, not to the triumph they dream of,
but to slavery under the king of Hell, and this, for all eternity. (Mt. 25:41)

"But all those I find in the flock of My elect I will judge with less rigor, and I will be all
love for those I find sheltered under the mantle of Mary and those will be the peoples,
the groups who had Her as their Patroness, and the souls who have most loved and
served Her.

"And I will look with exclusive predilection upon those devoted to Her Perpetual Help,
those who are the children of My Order, the Legion of Victim Souls, and all those who
may have helped, seconded and supported their works of unification, just as My Blessed
Mother wants it, and My Heart ardently desires it.

"I will still be with you for a little longer as a victim, but there is little time left, My
beloved. It is necessary to hasten your efforts. It is necessary to be prepared, because the
final hour is not far off.

"I have told everything to everyone so they might be prepared and not caught off guard.
The beginnings of the end have already been realized, and are being realized now. My
last work of Redemption is this that I have asked of you, and of which I have instructed
you! Thus, consider the shortness of time!"

A COMMUNICATION FROM THE MESSENGER (Portavoz)

They have asked that I enumerate what I have received recently from Our Lord and I am doing so, considering it to be for His greater glory.

I declare that, since many years ago, when I was still a child, Jesus has been speaking to me a great deal and, since then, He has been telling me of an ardent desire of His Heart that consists in a religious order’s being founded in Mexico that would be known as one of Atonement.
That He had asked it of several souls, but they did not give it to Him. And that this religious order
would have a very close relationship with His plans for the salvation of souls, and that it would be
established solemnly in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe by an express command of the Pope. He instructed me a great deal about this order.

He has also spoken to me about His plans to prepare for the end of time, assuring me that one of the principal things must be that same religious Order of Atonement that must have two branches: the feminine, more contemplative than active, and the masculine, more active than contemplative, because the latter would be for priests, untiring missionaries throughout the world.

But the condition of those missionaries must be under a very strict rule of poverty and humility. That they must exercise their ministry and their apostolate gratuitously to restore in the world, genuinely, the spirit of the Holy Gospel, as Jesus and His disciples did.

That they should not have prelacies or churches under their jurisdiction. That they should be humble servants who obey the Pope invariably. Because these religious precisely will be devoted to the Papacy. They will defend the Church from errors and schisms, working for the union of all in the only true Church, which is the Apostolic Roman Catholic Church.

They will be, so to speak, like loyal soldiers of the Vicar of Christ who battle against the antichrist. And these priests and nuns must make perpetual vows of adherence to the Pope and also of offering themselves to Divine Justice as victims, in union with the Divine Victim, Christ.

Well then: everything about this that God Our Lord has deigned to reveal to me and about other most beautiful things concerning Divine Justice and other things, I had always kept hidden, and had made them known only to my spiritual directors.

But recently He Himself has told me that I should publish everything, because the Day of Judgment is very close, and also because the day of my death approaches and these things must be known. I have spoken of this since the first day I sent the message pertaining to March 24 of this year to the magazine, "Estrella."

And later Our Lord told me and made me understand that I should publish as well all He has told me in other times.

Well then, I must begin with what, more or less, I have received from God in recent years and that is related to the same: reparation, atonement, warning about Judgment Day, etc. Because, although, I repeat, His Divine Majesty has always spoken of this to me, recently He began to tell me that it was urgent to warn the Holy Father especially that the last day of time is near.

True  Story  From  Alaska

O God, Who does great things and unsearchable, and wonderful things without number. -- Job 5:9
This is the story of a modern miracle, a story which has been verified by several, who were personally acquainted with the people involved.

Mrs. Dubay, of Anchorage, Alaska, was a dedicated Christian who lived alone in a small cottage that was heated by a wood-burning cook stove. At the time of this experience, she was sick in bed, so badly crippled that she could scarcely walk. She had depended on friends to bring in a fresh supply of wood for each day, but on this particular morning no friends came to help her.

She realized that unless someone brought wood soon the fire would go out and she would freeze to death. The temperature was 30 degrees below zero that February day. She began praying earnestly for help. Finally, as no one appeared, the last of her wood was burned, the fire went out, and the room grew cold. Then she prayed a different prayer - a prayer of complete resignation, telling the Lord if it was His will, she was willing to freeze to death. Just then, the door to her cottage opened and a tall young man walked into the room carrying an armful of wood. He carefully placed the wood in the wood bin and began to remake the fire. He also filled the kettle with water and placed it on the stove to heat. Then he went outside and soon returned with another armload of wood. While performing this service he kept his face turned to one side so that Mrs. Dubay could not see him. She wanted to ask him whether he was an angel, but was reluctant to do that. Finally, she asked the question inaudibly, and then the young man turned toward her, smiled and nodded his head. "His face was so noble that I knew he was not from this world," said Mrs. Dubay. "He turned, opened the door and left me without saying a word."

Was this man really an angel? Mrs. Dubay gave her conclusion. "For a time I sat there like one turned to stone. Finally, I thought, If he is an angel sent from God, there will not be any footprints in the snow outside the door. So I forced myself to hobble to the door, opened it, and looked out on the unruffled snow in my yard. There were no footprints in the snow. Then I forced myself to lean against the side of the door casing and looked around to my right, to see whether the snow had been disturbed where my wood was piled directly underneath my front window. No, the snow had not been disturbed in the slightest bit, over or around my little pile of wood. The snow was perfectly smooth and rounded, just as it always is after a snow storm. As I closed the door to my little cabin, I knew that God did love me, and that in my extremity, He sent one of His holy angels to my assistance."

Victim  Soul

The concept of the victim soul derives from the Roman Catholic Church's teaching on redemptive suffering. Such a person is said to be one chosen by God to suffer more than most people during life, and who generously accepts the suffering, based on the example of Christ's own Passion.
A New Testament basis for this concept may be found in Saint Paul's statement in Colossians 1:24: "Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the Church."

Background

In the apostolic letter Salvifici doloris (1984), which deals with human suffering and redemption, Pope John Paul II noted that: "The Redeemer suffered in place of man and for man. Every man has his own share in the Redemption. Each one is also called to share in that suffering, through which the Redemption was accomplished. ..."
An exposition of the tradition of victim soul appears in the autobiography of the Carmelite monastic Saint Thérèse of LisieuxThe Story of a Soul. In her view, the victim soul is a chosen one, whose suffering is mysteriously joined with the redemptive suffering of Christ, and is used for the redemption of others.
The Catholic Church does not officially designate anyone as a victim soul. The term comes from the testimony of those who have observed Christians who seem to undergo a kind of redemptive suffering. Victim soul status, even when genuine, is a matter of private revelation unlike dogmas; therefore, individual believers are not required to accept, as part of the Catholic faith, the legitimacy of any particular person for whom such a claim is made.

Examples of victim souls are:
  • Saint Lidwina of Schiedam (1380 - 1433)
  • Blessed Mary of the Divine Heart (1863 – 1899): the noble countess Droste zu Vischering and Mother Superior of the Convent of Good Shepherd Sisters in Porto, Portugal, wrote in her autobiography "I offered myself to God as a victim for the sanctification of priests" and added "I know that the Lord has accepted my suffering".
  • Saint Gemma Galgani (1878 – April 11, 1903): wrote in her autobiography how Jesus told her "I need souls who, by their sufferings, trials and sacrifices, make amends for sinners and for their ingratitude."
  • Maria Valtorta (1897 – 1961): whose spiritual life was influenced by reading the autobiography of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, as well as the life of Saint John Mary Vianney at the age of 28, before becoming bedridden, she offered herself to God as a victim soul.
  • Blessed Alexandrina of Balazar (1904 – 1955): whose Vatican biography states that she saw her vocation in life to invite others to conversion, and to "offer a living witness of Christ's passion, contributing to the redemption of humanity."
  • Saint Faustina Kowalska (1905 – 1938): who wrote in her diary that Christ had chosen her to be a "victim offering", a role that she voluntarily accepted.
  • Anneliese Michel (1952 – 1976): who is said to have suffered from demonic possession and underwent subsequent exorcisms; she is said to have been visited by the Blessed Virgin Mary who asked her "to be a victim soul, who would show the German people and the world, that the devil does really exist."
  • Padre Pio --
  • Maria Concepcion of Perpetual Help --
Although the notion of a scapegoat has been present within Judeo-Christian teachings for long, the Catholic concept of a victim soul is distinct and different from it, in that in this case the victim soul willingly offers the suffering to God, unlike the unwitting scapegoat scenario.

Revelations  of  Saint  Gertrude

Chapter 20.
Of some considerable privileges which God granted to this virgin,
and of the grace which He promised to her clients.

May my heart and my soul, with all the substance of my flesh, all my senses, and all the powers of my body and my mind, with all creatures, praise Thee and give Thee thanks, O sweetest Lord, faithful Lover of mankind, for Thy signal mercy; which has not only dissimulated the utterly unworthy preparation with which I have not feared to approach the supercelestial banquet of Thy most sacred Body and Blood, but has added this gift to me, the most utterly vile and perfectly useless of Thy creatures. First, of having been assured by Thy grace that all who desire to approach this Sacrament, and who are restrained by fear from a timid conscience, who come to me, who am the least of Thy servants, led by humility, to seek consolation,-- that Thy exceeding mercy will judge them worthy, in recompense for this humility, to receive this Sacrament with fruit to eternal life. Thou hast also added, that Thou wilt not permit any one, whom thy justice deems unworthy, to abase themselves to ask counsel of me, O Supreme Ruler, "who, though Thou dwellest on high, regardest the humble." (Psalm cxii.).

What prompted Thy mercy, when Thou sawest me approach so often unworthily, to suspend Thy judgment, and not to inflict on me the punishment I deserve? Thou willest to make others worthy by the virtue of humility; and though Thou couldst do so more effectually without my assistance, Thy love, looking upon my misery, made Thee effect this through me; so that thus I may be a sharer in the merits of those who, through my admonitions, enjoy the fruits of salvation.

But, alas! this is not the only remedy which my misery requires; nor will one remedy satisfy Thy mercy, O most kind Lord! For Thou didst assure my unworthiness that Thou wouldst consider whoever should expose their defects to me, with a contrite and humble heart, guilty or innocent, as I had declared them more or less guilty; and from henceforward Thy grace would so sustain them, that They should never again be in such danger from their faults as they had been previously. And thus Thou hast relieved my indigence, which is so great that I have never even for a single day corrected myself as I ought, and yet Thou dost permit me to participate in the victories of others, when Thou, my good God, dost condescend to make use of me, as a most unworthy instrument, to give the grace of victory to Thine other more deserving friends through my words.

Thirdly. The abundant liberality of Thy grace has enriched my poverty of merits by this assurance,-- that whenever I promise a favour to any one, or the pardon of any fault, through confidence in Thy mercy, Thy benign love will ratify my words, and execute my promise as faithfully as if it had been confirmed by an oath of the Eternal Truth. Thou didst add further, that if anyone found that the salutary effects of my promises were deferred, they should continually remind Thee that I had promised this grace from Thee. Thus dost Thou provide for my salvation according to the words of the Gospel: "With what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again." (Matt. vii, 2). And as I, alas! continually fall into the greatest faults, Thou desirest by this means to remit the punishment I deserve.

Fourthly. To solace my miseries, Thou hast assured me, among other things, that whosoever recommend themselves humbly and devoutly to my prayers will certainly obtain all the fruit which they hoped to obtain by the intercession of any other person: in which Thou hast provided for my negligence, which prevents me from satisfying, not only for the prayers which are made gratuitously for the Church, but also for those of obligation; and thou hast found the means of applying the fruit of them to me, according to the words of David: "My prayers shall be turned into my bosom" (Psalm xxxiv.); making me participate in the merits of Thine elect, who shall ask these graces of Thee through my intermission, although I am utterly unworthy of it, and granting me a share in them to supply for my indigence.

Fifthly. Thou hast further promoted my salvation by conferring these special favours on me, that whosoever, with a good will, a right intention, and a humble confidence, shall come to speak to me upon their spiritual advancement, should never leave me without being edified or receiving spiritual consolation. In this also thou hast most suitably supplied for my indigence; for, alas! I have wasted the talent Thou didst so liberally bestow on me by my useless words; but now I may gain some merit by what I confide to others.

Sixthly. Thy liberality, O Lord, has bestowed on me this gift, more necessary than all, --certifying to me, that whoever, in their charity, will either pray for me, the vilest of God’s creatures—or perform any good works, either for the amendment of my life,-- or the forgiveness of the sins of my youth, or the correction of my iniquity and malice, shall receive this reward from Thy abundant liberality—namely, that they shall not die until, by Thy grace, their lives have become pleasing to Thee; and that Thou wilt dwell in their souls by a special friendship and intimacy.

And this Thou hast granted of Thy paternal tenderness, to assist my extreme indigence; as thou knowest how many and how great corrections are needed for my innumerable sins and negligences. Thus, as Thy loving mercy will not permit me to perish, and, on the contrary, by reason of Thy justice, will not permit me to be saved with all my imperfections, Thou hast provided for me by means of the gains and merits of others.

Thou hast added to all these favours, my kind God, by an abundant liberality,-- that if any one, after my death, considering with how much familiarity Thou didst communicate with my unworthiness while in this life, should recommend themselves humbly to my prayers, Thou wouldst hear them as willingly as if they invoked the intercession of any other person, provided that they had the intention of repairing their faults and negligences, and that they humbly and devoutly thanked Thee for five special benefits which Thou didst grant me.

First. For the love by which Thou didst freely choose me from all eternity, and which I declare to be the greatest of all the benefits which Thou hast bestowed on me; for as Thou wert not ignorant of, or rather didst foresee, the corrupt life which I should lead, the excess of my ingratitude, and how I should abuse Thy gifts, so that I deserve to have been born a pagan, and not an enlightened human being,--Thy mercy, which infinitely exceeds our crimes, has chosen me, in preference to many other Christians, to bear the holy character of a religious.

Secondly. Because Thou hast drawn me blessedly to Thee; and I acknowledge it to be an effect of the clemency and charity which is natural to Thee, who hast won, by the attractions of Thy caresses, this rebellious and stubborn heart, which deserves to be loaded with fetters and chains; and it has seemed as if Thou hadst found in me the faithful companion of Thy love, and that Thy greatest pleasure was to be united to me.

Thirdly. Because Thou hast united me so intimately to Thee; and I declare, as I am bound, that I am indebted for this only to Thy signal liberality, as if the number of the just was not great enough to receive the immense abundance of Thy mercies; not that I had better dispositions than others, but, on the contrary, that Thy charity might be the more signalised in me thereby.

Fourthly. That Thou hast taken pleasure and delight in dwelling in my soul; and this, if I may so speak, proceeds from the ardour of Thy love, which has deigned to testify, even by words, that it is the joy of Thy all-powerful wisdom to stoop to one so dissimilar to Thee, and so utterly ungrateful.

Fifthly. That it has pleased Thee to accomplish Thy work happily in me; and it is a favour which I have hoped with humble confidence from the tenderness of Thy most benign charity, and for which I adore Thee with gratitude, declaring, O sovereign, true, and only treasure of my soul, that I have in no way contributed to it by my merits, but that it is a pure gift of Thy liberality.

All these benefits coming from Thine immense charity, and being so far above my nothingness, I m unable to give thanks for them worthily; but Thou hast further assisted my misery, in exciting others, by the most condescending promises, to render thanksgiving to Thee, the merit of which may supply my deficiencies. For which may all creatures in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, glorify Thee and thank Thee continually!

Chapter 21.
Thanksgivings for the confirmation of the aforesaid favours.

Among other things, it has pleased Thee, my Lord, in the abundance of Thine inestimable charity, to ratify and confirm these favours. On a certain day, as I meditated on and compared Thy mercy and my malice, I was filled with extreme joy, even to such presumption, as to complain that Thou hadst not assured me of these favours by solemn contract; when Thy sweet and affable charity agreed to satisfy my objection, saying to me: "Do not complain of this; approach and receive the confirmation of My promises." And immediately Thou didst open to me, with both hands, the ark of Thy Divine love and infallible truth, namely, Thy Deified Heart; and Thou didst command me to extend my hand,-- I, perverse creature as I am, seeking, like the Jews, for a sign; and then, drawing back Thy Sacred Heart, with my hand enclosed therein, thou saidst: "Behold, I promise to preserve inviolate the g-ifts which I have bestowed on thee; however, if I suspend their effects for a time, by way of dispensation, I oblige Myself, by the omnipotence, wisdom, and love of the Trinity, in which I live and reign true God through all ages, to recompense thee afterwards threefold."

After these most sweet words, as I withdrew my hand, I perceived thereon seven golden circlets, in the form of rings, one on each finger, and three on the signet finger; which indicated that the seven privileges were confirmed to me, as I had asked. Then Thy loving mercy added these words: "Each time that you acknowledge your unworthiness of My gifts, and confide fully in My mercy, each time you acquit yourself of the debts you owe Me for these benefits."

Oh, how ingenious is Thy Paternity in providing for Thy children, notwithstanding their vile degeneracy, and the manner in which they have squandered Thy substance, falling from innocence, and depriving Thee of Thy rightful worship! yet hast Thou deigned to accept as an offering the reflection I make on my miseries. Do Thou, the Giver of gifts, the Source of all good, without whom nothing is good and nothing is holy,-- do Thou, for Thy glory and the salvation of my soul, grant me grace to know my unworthiness of all Thy gifts, whether great or little, whether exterior or interior, and in all things to have the most perfect confidence in Thy mercy.

In the cross is life; in the cross is joy of spirit; in the cross is protection from enemies. -- Imitation of Christ, Bk. 2, Ch. 12.
God needs our suffering, to be used by virtue of the Communion of Saints, to assist other souls in their redemption.
God sends the heaviest crosses to those He calls His own,
And the bitterest drops of the chalice are reserved for His friends alone.
But the blood red drops are precious, and the crosses are all gain,
For Joy is bought with Sacrifice, and the price of love is Pain.
