Somewhere Out There,
A young girl thinks to
herself,
As she looks out her
window,
Some day my prince will
come,
He is out there
Somewhere,
Somewhere out there,
Is someone who will love
her with all his heart
and soul,
And she will love him,
He will never yell or hit
her,
He will never leave her
alone or feeling alone,
He will never treat her
bad in anyway,
He will love her and
treat her kindly,
There will never be one
tear that falls from her
eyes.
Somewhere out There,
She hears her father come
home she thinks to
herself,
Somewhere out There,
She hears him yell and
hit her mother like so
many times before,
As she hears her mother
fall to the floor she
thinks to herself,
Somewhere out There.
A young woman looks out
her window it is late,
And she thinks of the
thoughts she had as a
young girl,
Somewhere out There,
Her husband comes in
yelling at her again,
For something she has
done wrong,
As he hits her, she falls
to the floor she thinks,
Somewhere out There, but
not today.
An older woman sits
rocking her granddaughter
in her arms saying to
her,
"Someday your prince
will come for you,
He is out there
somewhere,
He will love you with all
his heart and soul."
The older woman thinks to
herself,
Somewhere out There has
long gone for her,
No one ever came for her,
No one ever loved her
with all his heart and
soul,
No one ever treated her
kindly only harsley.
As she looks at her
granddaughter she says,
"Somewhere out There
He is waiting for
you."
She closes her eyes and
slips away.
Somewhere out There never
came for her on earth.
One can only hope he is
there for her now.
