my
very favorite ones!
of ikuyu (brown belt).I placed second in the only 2 provincial
tournaments I competed in!I also enjoy refereeing tournaments
and am a National "A" referee.I am a level 2 coach and love to
share my knowledge with the children.

HOCKEY - My favorite NHL team is the Detroit Red Wings.
"DETROIT RULES".Ever since 1960 I have followed
the Wings-I really enjoyed watching Gordie Howe play
...his birthday is the same day as mine...hehehe! They are the
present "WORLD CHAMPIONS"-Let's go Wings!
At one time,I had 3 of my boys playing minor hockey. Right
now just Paddy plays.I am very involved in the executive of the
minor hockey association. I have managed a number of teams
over the years.We are presently getting ready to host the
1998 Provincial Bantam AA Hockey Championships! What a big
job and there is so much fundraising to do...but it's for the
kids and it's fun!
FOOTBALLI am a footbasll fanatic! "DA BEARS"......what more can I say....
..I have to thank my husband for that, when we began living together
he watched it all day Sat.& Sun. I just figured well learn to like it
or have allot of rotten weekends....and now I love it!
I am the one who insists the game be on!!hahah!
WATER SPORTS-I love to swim. I was a competitor in the
very first Canada Summer Games.I placed 6th in Canada
in the back and breast strokes!I swam competetively for 6
years placing in most provincial championships. I like to scuba
dive (although it's been a while).I also enjoy water skiing
and snorkelling.
BOWLING I have been bowling in a couple of leagues
and have and currently do hold the High Single and High
Triple. I have held High Average before.I bowl 10 pin with
the small balls(2.2 lbs).
SOFTBALL I am involved in softball
through my children. I have coached and umpired.
BASKETBALL During junior and senior high school, I
played on both the basketball and volleyball teams. Now,
I really enjoy watching the NBA and, of course, the Chicago
Bulls.........they are soooo good!
MISCELLANEOUS SPORTS Like I said before , I like most
sports.I really enjoyF-1 car racing and Jacques Villeneuve,
love to watch skiing,roller blading, and figure skating!The Olympics
keep me glued to the T.V. when they are on! Bobsledding, gymnastics,
track and field are all on my list too!
