After being away for the music scene for almost a year while battling her cancer, Delta Goodrem flew to Los Angelas to work on new material with Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams co-songwriter). Out Of The Blue was inspired by Delta's then boyfriend Mark Phillipoussis
Out Of The Blue was the first single to be lifted from Delta's second album ' Mistaken Identity ' and was a top 10 hit in the UK aswell as becoming Delta's 6th consecutive no.1 single in Australia.
