Lost Thought
The very thought was given, Of this I was most certain. And then simply taken away.
As if somehow forgotten (and just before its rotten) Id say its never given to stay.
Now its subtly touching Someone who's truly mumbling, stumbling upon the notion of the day.
A brilliant theory's forming yet it couldve been merely NOTHING Most of this I really could not say.
If again the bulb it lights above my head, a hook to bite And then see it gradually fade away
Ill tell you something quickly For it leaves me oh so swiftly and you remember it! I sincerely hope and Pray.
When the world seems so cold and someday call you "old", all your thoughts will dwell on younger days. |
