Popsickle Stick Frames
Jo Ann Montgomery

A nice frame for your pictures of you, your family, pets, even stuff you get off the Net!

Here is the pic I used:
Courage, driving Benita's Car (He has amnesia, and thinks he's Melvin Bizarre, Benita's nephew.)

Step 1: Take your picture (print it out, if it's from a website), and trim it. Be sure to leave a white boarder around the picture, to put the glue on. Use your sticks to measure the size of your picture, puting them end-to-end.

For the picture of Courage, I used four regular-sized sticks, two mini-sized sticks, and two jumbo-sized sticks. The regular-sized sticks are put end-to-end. The mini-sized sticks are put on top, where the two ends meet, and glued, as a connecter for the two sticks. Do the same for the other regular and mini sticks. Make as many of these as you need. The Courag pic needed two sets of these.

Step 2: Place the sticks around the picture, to be sure they fit. Put the sticks up to the edge of the picture. Overlap the sticks, with the jumbo sticks under the regular sticks. The ends should stick out from each other, like a tick-tack-toe board whose center box forms the picture frame.

Step 3: Carefully glue the sticks together into the frame, with the mini sticks on the bottom. Let dry.

Step 4: Decorate as desired. If you use glitter, spread a thin coat of glue on the sticks, then sprinkle desired amount of glitter and let dry. If you want to put signs on the frame, glue them on before you add glitter or other decorations. Let all glued parts dry.

Step 5: Glue picture onto the back of the frame and let dry.

Step 6: (optional) You may want to add cardboard backing to your frame, to add strength to your picture. Glue a piece of thin cardboard --cereal boxes and other food boxes are excellent for this, as are manillia folders-- the same size as your picture to the back of your frame and let dry.

You're done! ^_^ I used gold glitter and red glitter to decorate my Courage frame. A sign on the top part reads, "The Bugaloos!!!", and the sign on the bottom reads, "Courage".
