Xena, Warrior Princess first appeared in the Hercules: The Legendary Journeys episode, "The Warrior Princess". At the time, Xena was evil, a warlord just as blood-thirsty as every other warlord in the world.

Then, two things happened:

1. She rescued a baby from her army.
2. She met Hercules.

This --plus surviving The Gauntlet-- began her change from evil to good.

Did you know that Xena was orginally scheduled to die at the end of the trilogy of episodes? ("The Warrior Princess", "The Gauntlet", "The Unchained Heart") I'm glad the people in charge decided to change the ending! ^_^

• Vanessa Angel (Lisa, on USA's Weird Science) was the orginal choice to play Xena.
• The direct-to-video animated movie, Hercules & Xena: The Battle for Mt. Olympus, was Lucy Lawless' professional singing debut. She sang, "What Do I Do Now?".
• Lucy Lawless has played Rizzo, in the Broadway production of Grease.
• Lucy Lawless appeared in the TV movie, Hercules and the Amazon Women, as Lysia, the Enforcer.
• Renee O' Conner starred in commercials for Threadgill's, a popular resturant in Texas that her family owns.
