Ima is a distant relative of Xanderah's ruling family. He is roughly 1/16 noble and, as he once put it, is probably "300 assassinations or so" away from the throne.
Ima's life has been remarkably uneventful for a wizard. While he has gone on several missions, most have not been particularly major. Only two were of any notable importance, as he'll openly admit. He has, however, led most of these missions. Ima has also earned a reputation for refusing to leave a team member, friend or not, behind under any circumstances.
Ima can direct and rapidly grow plantlife. This can be used to make mushrooms the size of chairs to sit on or to make roots shoot out of the ground and stab an enemy.
While not technically a magical skill, Ima is very skilled with potions. He can make a wide variety of posions, explosives, plant-altering chemcials and other liquids. He tends to avoid making anything explosive unless he abosolutely has to, seeing as how he doesn't want to carry around something like napalm in his bag of holding. His skills as a herblorist largely come in handy when making healing potions and salves. He has been compared to a Life Mage as he often acts as a medic after or during a battle.
Ima can also communicate with plants. This is helpful at the most unexpected times. He quickly learned to tune-out grass, as grass tends to be talkative and depressing.
