Naria is the only child of two proud and wealthy parents with some noble blood. Her parents hired a Fire Wizard to personally train their daughter, refusing to let the Council do the exact same job.
At 18 years old, Naria was presented before the Council and finally allowed to have formal training. She was almost immediately promoted to Sorceress, with her skills being considerably developed already.
The current mission, only a few months after her formal training began, will be her second mission. The Council has faith in Naria's skills and hopes, in all honesty, that two Fire Sorceresses on the mission will be as good or better than a Fire Wizardess.
Naria is a typical Fire Sorceress -- she is very good at setting things on fire by several, and often creative, ways. She usually throws fireballs, the classic general-all-purpose Fire Magic spell.
