Copycat Pace Picante Sauce
Description: Save a lot of money making salsa at home rather than buying it by the bottle in the stores! This salsa freezes well.
Ingredients:
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 28 ounces water
- 1 medium yellow onion, minced
- 2 fresh jalapeno peppers, with seeds,minced
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Steps:
- Bring all ingredients to a boil in saucepan over med-high heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until thick.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Store in an airtight jar in refrigerator until serving.
