Golden Apple Oatmeal
Description: A lovely breakfast of fresh apple and oats. Such tasty and healthy way to meet the day. The amount will easily double.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup diced golden delicious apple
- 1/3 cup apple juice
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 cup old fashioned oats, uncooked
- brown sugar (optional)
- milk (optional)
Steps:
- Combine apples, juice, water, and spices, bring to boil.
- Stir in rolled oats and cook till oats are cooked (about 7 mins).
- Serve with brown sugar and milk on the side.
