Gap Band

Some people really rate the Gap Band. There's no doubting they were far more popular in the 80's than the 70's; their first album never even got a look in. But this is a good disco album, along with the second (and to a lesser extent, the third). Good songs are "Party lights", "Baba baby boogie" and the classic "I don't believe you want to get up and dance (oops upside your head)". From their third album came the more 80's funk, less disco sounding "Humpin'" and "Burn rubber on me".
