Recorded earlier as The Rhythm Makers. Changed name to GQ in 1978 - standing for "Good Quality". Their first album "Disco nights" yielded an all time disco classic of the same name. Listen also for their version of A Taste of Honey's "Boogie oogie oogie" and "Standing ovation", the single taken from their next album GQ 2.
