Kenny Lehman co-wrote the songs for this freakin' Prelude label disco group.
Originally signed to Salsoul for an initial single "Freak on" (some
12" copies are on lemon coloured vinyl!). Kenny features playing the flute;
Luther Vandross sings backing vocals. Their only album features the classic
disco track "A-freak-a" (released as a Prelude 12"), along with
little known songs like "Chance to dance", "Hot bodies" and
"Freak on".
Kenny Lehman also wrote for Roundtree
and worked on "Dance, dance, dance (yowsah, yowsah, yowsah)" with Nile
Rodgers & Bernard Edwards for Chic.
