Keep Me Warm

Bill shivered, glaring at nothing in particular. He had somehow gotten himself locked out of their studio and the only reason he was happy was that it was far too cold for even the craziest of fans to camp out in. He had taken to pacing in order to keep warm, cursing the fact of forgetting not only his keys to the studio, but also his phone. He had tried knocking, but it was late and he already knew the others were sleeping soundly...warm in their beds.

Bill cursed again, still pacing and glaring at nothing. He didn't notice Tom standing in front of him until he bumped into the other. He blinked and looked up, eyes lighting up when he spotted his twin. Wordlessly, Tom embraced Bill, shivering sharply as he felt how cold Bill was.

"How long have you been out here?" Tom asked, unzipping his jacket. "You're as cold as ice."

Once the jacket was out of the way, Bill sprang into action; wrapping himself around his twin like a leech and sighing at the warmth Tom's body offered to his cold one. Tom zipped up his jacket once more and wrapped his arms around Bill.

"You didn't answer my question," Tom prodded.

"Give me a minute," Bill mumbled, nosing Tom's neck and making him shiver. "I'm fucking freezing."

"I can tell," Tom mumbled back.

Bill sighed and sniffed. "I've been out here a while," he finally replied. "Don't know how long." He tried snuggling further against Tom, only to find he couldn't. He pouted, but settled for what he had.

"Well, I'm here now," Tom said, smiling. "You just need to get warm."

Bill smiled up at Tom, his shivers lessening. "You are the warmth that I need," he said softly, almost unheard as a howl of wind blew past them.

Tom chuckled softly, wrapping his jacket tighter around the both of them. "Always, Bill," he said. "Now, lets get inside and get you some hot cocoa."

Bill complied willingly, wrapping himself around Tom once more as they settled on the couch, hot cocoa in hand. Eventually, Bill had nodded off, nearly spilling his hot cocoa on the carpet were it not for Tom's reflexes that caught it before it left Bill's hands. He situated himself and Bill comfortably enough on the couch and nodded off not long after, the comforting warmth of Bill lulling him into a deep sleep.
