Elmer Fudpucker Cake

Description: This is a delicious cake with a wonderful blend of ingredients from the Friends of Citizens Savings Cookbook. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

• 1 (18 ounce) box lemons or 1 (18 ounce) box orange cake mix
• 1/2 cup liquid shortening
• 1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
• 4 eggs
• 1/4 cup vodka
• 1/4 cup apricot brandy
• 3/4 cup apricot nectar
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2 teaspoons vodka
• 2 teaspoons apricot nectar
• 2 teaspoons brandy

Steps:

1. Mix all ingredients.
2. Beat for 4 minutes.
3. Pour into well-greased and floured angel food pan or bundt pan.
4. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350°F.
5. Mix and heat glaze ingredients and pour over cake.
