Hash Brown Potato Casserole
Description: I got this recipe from a friend who use to make it for us at the firehouse. Absolutely delicious. Serve hot
Ingredients:
- 1 (2 lb) package frozen hash browns, thawed
- 10 ounces cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 pint sour cream
- 2 cups corn flakes (cereal)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Steps:
- Combine first 7 ingredients.
- Pour into greased 11x9 baking dish.
- Combine crushed cornflakes with 1/4 cups melted butter. Spread over top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
