Bamboos

I started off with two bamboos, but after finding more on bamboos on the Internet, my collection has grown.  Large golden bamboos have been placed in pots along the back of the house, their rate of growth from the time a new shoot first appears is amazing.

I have planted clumping bamboos along the fences, under the palms, to provide a screen against the winds and to seclude the garden from the outside world.  The majority of the running bamboos are on my front verandah, and pots of the Fortune Inviting Bamboo are either side of the front door.

All of the running bamboos are grown in pots and placed on hard surfaces, so they don't escape into the ground.  Bamboos are great for trapping pollution; this should give me a cleaner yard.

As these grow I will add some photos.
