| Each student painted a picture during the first few weeks of school. We hung up the paintings in the hallway for our Open House. The sign says"Kinder Art Gallery" This is a fun way to showcase the children's art work. |
| More paintings are hung on the wall inside the classroom. The children and the parents had fun looking for their painting. |
| Here is our September Calendar. Each month I choose a new pattern. For September we had an AB pattern "Sun, Apple" which we read and clap every morning. The children have lots of fun predicting which picture will come next. I make the patterns a little more difficult each month. |
| This is our first interactive chart of the year. During interactive writing, I teach letter formation, spacing and some high frequency words. The children also have an opportunity to contribute to each chart. On this chart I wrote the words, "My name is" and the children printed their names (some with assistance). I hung the chart on the wall in the classroom. The children enjoy reading the chart throughout the day.. |
