Joey was the son of Saul Bennett who abducted Selina before Joey arrived.
Joey was taken in by Irene and was accepted into the school by Fisher.Joey soon became the hero of the school due to his amazing brains.Found the love of his life when he found Tiegan and helped her to learn to read and write as she couldnt.
Joey went to his dads commune which wasn't a good place to be and convinced Selina to go back also . Joey witnessed his father being burnt to death but he didn't actually die he came back to the bay to stop Selina marrying Steven.
Apparantly Joey became a dope addict. His personality went from bad to mad and gave Irene and her foster kids a real hard time along with Tiegan.
He lost his mind and was enticed one night to his computer screen by his dead father telling him Irene was against him. His illness meant he believed what he heard and tried to suffocate Irene with a pillow to be stopped by Chloe and James at the last minute.
He also decided he was superman and was found on a cliff. He did recover and decided to go around ausralia tellin kids about memtal illness. He left in 1999.
