Ooky and Zillah's babies all out together for playtime (25 baby rats! Eeeeeep!)
All our rats are littered on alfalfa pellets with paper bedding.
� We do not use shavings of any type as pine and cedar are toxic to rats
and most other shavings are too dusty or have been treated with harmful chemicals.
We suggest future owners of our kittens follow our example
or use recycled paper pellets such as biocatolet and yesterday's news, or the cardboard litter available through the NERS rat club
to help ensure their kitten's future health
