Before The Crow came out, my favorite Brandon Lee film was Rapid Fire. Now it's tied for first place. I love the movie for many reasons, the action is intense, the story is believable and Brandon Lee was a great actor. His way of presenting himself whether he was fighting, joking or whatever were all genuine and he had the charisma of his father. His untimely death was a real loss for Hollywood. But we have his movies to remember him by, and since we can't spend all our time watching movies, we can spend time listening to their soundtracks to help us recall the movies. Christopher Young's score for Rapid Fire uses a variety of techniques. He has synthesizers as well as traditional Oriental instruments.

The opening track, Rapid Fire is the main title theme. This theme is reprised several times in the course of the score and it's a good thing too. The theme is awesome when played by the traditional Oriental woodwinds but the guitar rendition presented in Together Alone is equally as effective. The Together Alone rendition is more romantic and softer. The Rapid Fire theme is presented in an action packed version in the appropriately named track Kix. I love the movie so much that it was dumb not to get the soundtrack. It is becoming harder to find but it is still available in some stores, you just have to look.
