Daniel DESKINS Jr

This will is extremely difficult to read, so there may be blank spaces or question marks where more than one person tried to interpret the entry. In the name of God Amen the first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred & Ninety eight I Daniel DISKIN being sick & weak of body but of Sound & perfect memory blessed and praise by almighty God Do make and ordain this to be my last Will & Testament in manner & form following first and principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it hoping by the Messiah's (?) death & passion of my Risen Lord Savior Jesus Christ to receive full pardon and remission of all my sins and my body to the Ground to be (?) Decentley and Christianly buried at the discretion of Executors hereinafter named And as for the worldly Goods that God hath bestowed imprimus I dispose of in manner & form following. I give unto my Loving Wife the Right of ordaining (?) Executing. Item It is my will that most of my estate be brought to an assesment and shall be divided into three parts my wife to have one third part thereof and the other two parts to be divided between my three Children and that part of the estate that Shall belong to my two oldest children to be so valued at so much as will those assessed in Acres of Land then it is my desire that my wife buy so much Land & keep their part of the Estate but if it will not by so much land then that she by 200 acres of Land & the Land purchased to be equally divided between my two oldest Children John and Mary DISKINS Item The Land that I now live on during her natural life I give unto my wife and after her decease to my youngest Child Daniel DISKINS And I do make my loving wife Joann DISKINS Executrix of this my last will & testament hereby anulling all wills but present(?) by me at my hand or bequeathed & published this to be my Last Will & Testament in witnesseth whereof I have have here unto set my hand and fixed my seal Daniel DISKIN, Esq. In presence of Job AYERS(?) Joana (her mark) (seal Martha (her mark) Parker Nathan Elbert (?) sr. John Parker, Sr. Duly Recorded (smeared and illegible)
