Crab Dip or Spread
1 10-ounce can undiluted cream of mushroom soup
1 package 8-ounce cream cheese
1 can crab meat, drained, rinsed and flaked
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup minced onion
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
3 Tablespoons
cold water *

Heat soup, ad cream cheese.  Stir until well blended.  Remove from heat and add crab meat, mayonnaise, celery and onion.  Dissolve gelatin in the cold water and add to dip mixture, blend well.  Pour into greased mold ( or dish) and refrigerate over night.

Unmold and serve with crackers or thick chips.  May also be used as spread in celery or on sandwiches.

*Note: You may have to add more than 3 tablespoons of cold water to gelatin to make it the right consistency.  You want the gelatin to be thick but smooth, so that you can easily blend it with the dip.
